Afternoon everyone....LISTEN HERE YOU LOT....now I've got your attention..we have to keep a life balance here folks.....and as long as debts are going down and not up we are winning...life is too short and believe me that's been brought home to me today!!!...a young girl at work at the tender age of 20 died yesterday..RIP...
YES we need to apy our debts off and sometimes life gets in the way..we have to have treats...mine is having all my windows and doors done (before they fall out) and this will save on heating bills and the other one is my holiday to Mexico and this is the only way my DH actually manage to spend time together...I debated whether to cancel the holiday and have decided not to as I work really hard all the rest of the year.
I have paid £44.75 off halifax cc today so my total is updated...so please don't be too hard on yourselves as life is hard enough ...take care xx

  • I just paid another £43.29 off my Egg Card, I can't wait until pay day so that I can clear my Egg Card (fingers crossed on not splurging over the Easter weekend or it won't be cleared until May - I should be OK, I have got £70 in my 'holidays and treats' account to play with - not so long ago I would have wondered if that was enough, now it feels like loads of money on top of my normal budget)

I agree with you Taxi - it is important to treat yourself from time to time, so far my treats account has paid for me to go to a show, stay in a swanky hotel (at huge discount) and buy someone a present (I don't normally do presents). All of those things made me feel great.

Taxi I am really sorry to hear about your colleague, it does make you start to think about things doesn't it. Over the past few years I have lost a mix of close and less close colleagues (4 in total, 3 very suddenly, one after an aggressive illness) and it is always a bit of a shock to the system - hugs to you.

Well done Laura, do you think you'll be able to get Forma below 1000 like you wanted before you go? If not don't worry you've come a long way. Enjoy your holiday! :o
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Congrats Kizzy on being so close to debt free, bet you can't wait till next week. Still no payments from me and living on a megre amount till payday, which isn't till the end of the month. However although there are no updates from me for a while, i know i've being doing things that will payout over the next few months. Have two mystery shops lined up for this weekend and five already lined up for April. will keep my eyes peeled for many more.

Congrats to everyone who is remembering to post and keep up with the challenge and a big thanks to taxi with all her motivational and inspirational posts.
