Pay off £20,000 (ish) by Xmas 2008

Hello MSers,

I just updated my spreadsheet with my November payments and I am delighted to report that I've just passed my £10,000 target by a whole £58.02.

That leaves me with just over £9000 left to pay off next year so I think I'd better sign up for the 2009 challenge now.

Thanks very much for this inspirational thread....I know I've not contributed much but reading about everyone else's journeys helps me so much.

Congratulations to those who have already finished - and good luck if you're still going, still 23 more days!

Yes another big thankyou here to polly for starting this challenge and yes i'll be joining for next year!

Although i've come nowhere near my target this challenge has really kept me organised and focussed.

A + L Overdraft £1500
HSBC Overdraft £872.70
Loan £9234.28

Total £11606.98

Paid off this year £2770.53

Like I say nowhere near my target but despite not having a job all year and managing 2 long haul holidays i dont think i've done too bad

Pollydaydream ... can I join the stop faffin around challenge pls? I clear my debts, then rack up some more and it just yo-yo-yo-yo's! You guys are inspirational and I think it would help me to post on here. I have over 10k of debt I need to clear.
