Right. I said that if it was okay for me to join, I'd write a list of what I've done. There are obviously no numbers for members, but people have come on and joined since I posted, and Polly hasn't pm'd me to kick me off, so I'm going to assume I'm in!

Blimey. It doesn't *feel* like that.
* The 212.00 was accurate, but from January 08 its an approximation - the debt is in euros, and repayments are calculated differently from in this country.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hi all.
I've got some good news. After writing a few stinky letters complaining to the Insurance company about the work done on our flat and to the management company about other work done to the flat I received a nice big cheque from the insurance company!!! WOOHOO:beer: The bad news is that Im only allowed to use £200 to pay off some debts but the rest is being put in a high interest isa and being saved for emergencies. It feels great, and for the first time since ive been in debt i actually have an emergency fund. My Oh and i decided that I will get a certain amount out of that each year to throw at my debts. I should be getting some more money soon for shares that i was forced to sell and that should clear another debt. Then I have 2 options:
1. Pay off CC1 £2200 15.9%
2. pay off CC2 £5950 18.9%
Which should i pay off first????? And any advice on how to somehow make loads of money to pay it of??? Done the bingo and have been stopped from joining any more sites but i did make about £200.DFW Nerd No: 758  Proud to be dealing with my debts!:T Proud mum to Bon-Scott my amazing 10/10/10 baby0 -
Paying off the 18.9% one seems better.
You're paying over 1000 pounds in interest a year on that card alone, think about a nice holiday in the Carribean or a 50 inch TV you could have bought with it...0 -
Just popped by to see how you are all doing..and you are all doing great!!!..keep it up
For what its worth the 18.9% card first..as it's a larger balance and more interest.0 -

Hi Karmacat - of course you're welcome to join; actually when I've seen your signature on other threads, I already thought you had!
Welcome also to Emz and Jacks. All are welcome here, so anyone else out there thinking about it - come on in and say hi.
Well done to everyone so far. Hypno and Taxi - wow! It should be a "£20,000 by midsummer" for you two. Tell us how you're doing it!

Evening all, am glad its the weekend and am just about to crack open a bottle of wine now that i've caught up with all my challenges. My totals haven't moved much as yet, i haven't checked online banking etc and need to complete some wage requirements for matched betting before i see any improvements. Looks like everyone is plodding along nicely though so well done and keep it up. Hopefully i'll post over the weekend with some good news about my challenge totals!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
