Am very excited - about to update my signature for my big 'beginning of month payments bonanza' and for the first time in 4 1/2 years I am sub £30k

It might not sound much but for me it is a massive milestone. I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone on here for helping me to keep my lightbulb moment feeling going, I couldn't have done it without you.

    Sub £25k here I come.

Brilliant news - well done! I remember my excitement at being sub 80k :o !
  • Good morning everyone.

My council tax payment has gone out, so another £25 off miscellaneous debts and arrears finally paid off :j . Most of my debts are too big to be cleared anytime soon, so it feels really good to actually clear a debt and cross it off the list.

    Have a good day.

I've updated with the standard payments on the debts for the month as most come out between the 1st and the 5th. Still battling on...

Hi all. I sort of lost my way on this idea :o Pania was talking about this way back in November, but it was Polly DD who actually started the thread and got the challenge going, and I changed my sig without actually thinking - i.e. I never came on to this thread and signed up :o:o:o

Can I still join please? If I can, I'll post the debt payments I've made from 1 December to the present day. :money:

I do think its a brilliant idea - you do count regular payments don't you (if you don't my present totals are in trouble!).

    Thanks!

morning everyone. well all my nomal payments have gone out so have that total to add. i have had to use some of the cheque i had as the suspension broke on the car and thats costing £300 to fix. but im keeping it on my total as it was still there and i have managed to get the car fixed without going further into debt for once wich is a great feeling.
hopefully i will be able to make some more to pay of during the month and get my total a litle higher
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed

Morning All, hope everyone's well. I've been in the US for work the last week so still have to catch up on everyone's posts. I've made a few extra payments since getting back and am waiting on a cheque to clear before adding a little more.

I have some news though. OH and I are getting married! Determined not to get into extra debt for the wedding so will be ebaying/comping anything extra to pay for the wedding! lol.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
