hello all! Taxi i couldn't agree more i'm barely making enough at the moment to pay the bills and i have a feeling my day driver is going to pack in taxing all together and get a regular paid job :( i can't blame him though he has a wife three kids, two dogs and 4 cats to feed! As long as i manage to pay the minimum at the moment i'll just ride it out, at least i'm not currently geting into more debt. Went round to best friends eariler and we were talking about how foolish we've been in the past with regards money and how this is a harsh lesson but a lesson learnt...NEVER AGAIN! Anyways bit of a downer that on a lighter note got a cheque for a whiplash i suffered in sept today so we eat tonight :)

    Hi all,

Sorry I've not been around much, if at all this month. I'm having a really pants time at the mo. My OH bought a bike last month which he needed but that left us very short, then I realised I had forgotten to pay my council tax (first time Ive ever had to pay it) so we are now in arrears with that but have sorted it out with the council. Then it got so bad that once I had made my minimum payments I was left with £100 to last me the month to cover food and electric. Not good!!!!!

So I have been quite creative with economic driving, filled my car up and somehow filled my fridge freezer and cupboards up for the month using what I had spare on my credit cards (£70). Leaving me the £100 for the rest of the month an emergencies.

But I have unfortunalty had to write to my creditors offering reduced payments and sent them a SOA. One company has written back and all my accounts are frozen.

And then to top of the cr4p time I've been having one of my mice died (and it was my favorite one). I'm still on for the challenge and with writing to my creditors I will actually know what I owe so I should be able to update my totals soon.

I'm still up for the challenge although it is going to be very tight and I will never make the £10,000 target but I can try. I've got loads of [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] sorry usefull stuff to put on ebay so will be sorting that out over the week end.

Hi All, been ebaying to clear some clutter. Took advice on here and have been listing in groups of similar items each week. All my items sold yesterday :T but so far only 2 people have paid  (and that includes one person abroad I've been chasing for payment for a week). Its now been 24 hours since my auctions finished, you would think people would pay up either at the end of the auction or a few hours after wouldn't you? On the 2 that have paid i've made a profit of £17, but won't add it to my totals till its through from Paypal.

Oh and speaking about ebay I ordered something for the eldests birthday (tomorrow) and its still not arrived (paid for it a week ago), I've emailed the seller (they have an ebay shop and 99.9% feedback) and still nothing.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Morning everyone and happy Bank Holiday weekend.

Well done to everyone - I think everyone's doing well, even if not on target at the moment. There's still plenty of time and you never know what's round the corner (only good stuff from now on!).

My payments for this month have gone through, so I've updated my totals. I'm way, way, way off target, so given myself a good talking to. I'm on holiday for a week, so comping, clicking, ebaying, AQA, surveys, (you name it - I'm doing it ) here I come.

    Have a good weekend all.

Nice to see lots of determined people on here. Not much to report from me at the moment, still working on my business ready for launching it, so all work in progress which should amount to money one day! Looking forward to payday though as this is an expensive month for me. Its my birthday on monday and even though i hate birthdays, its still quite expensive for me as my friends want to take me out. So some of them are taking me out today are another one is taking me to London on Monday. Its very sweet of them but means i have to have money to spend, however like we were all saying before, we have to find that balance and i have to balance spending less money with living a life. At least birthdays only come once a year, couldn't handle two birthdays and getting older even quicker!!

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone and good luck with all the debt busting.
