Morning all..hope you are all well.Just popping in as have updated my sig due to one of the loans coming out..£196.60.Should manage to hit that 10k mark by end of june or maybe earlier as I'm waiting for a bill to come through from Halifax so that I can pay extra over the counter as I have some spare cash here.

Got some of my usual monthly coming out so updated my totals. Quite scary thinking how much I throw at my debt each month and what else it could be getting spent on if I didn't have the debt!!!!

Over quarter of the way now! Could do it faster but I want to have a life as well. I'm pleased we have now cleared over £5k and have cleared 7 debts off in total.

 D'ya know what my lovelies?

I joined late - and I thought I had no hope of actually achieving this goal, but I thought it would spur me on to try harder to pay our debts off asap- and it's nice to have a concrete figure in mind. I'd rather aim high and fall a little bit short than play it too safe...

    But anyway...

Looking at my end of May total, it is possibly conceivable that I will have paid half of the £20K off at the official half way mark at the end of June.

and if I can make the halfway target.....

Then maybe it's even conceivable that I'll actually do it and pay off £20k By Christmas 2008?!

    Oh.

    My.

    God.

How cool is that?!

Now I know I'm counting my chickens well in advance of my eggs hatching but wowzer!

Well done Jacks on your total so far and for remaining positive.

My total isn't really changing much at the moment but a lof of money is going on driving lessons and tests so that i can set up my mobile business and also for courses and books for my diploma course. Its not adding to debt and at least its not getting slapped on the credit cards, but would like to see my total moving. I've got a nice matched bet to make use of though, so when i get some money tomorrow i will get that moving.

 The business expenses will all be recouped in the end though hon, won't they. (and more!) It's true what they say sometimes - You've got to speculate to accumulate! :D

My last couple of big payments were a bit flukey really. I've set up an eBay shop which is doing surprisingly well, plus I took 3 weeks holiday from my main two jobs to go and run my friends pub while she was in hospital having an op.

This meant I got two lots of holiday pay plus the pub wages for the same time period - which gave us a massive boost.

(I'm knackered though and my feet may never forgive me!)

Mystery shopping has gone by the wayside lately, but we have done two carboot sales in the last month or so.

It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and hubby asked me if I'd like to go away for the weekend, but I'm happy to loaf round here really. Just the day off will be enough of a treat!

    Love Jacks xxx
