    Cheers Taxi!

I do love watching all the totals come down- or go up depending on which direction they're s'posed to be moving in (hopefully :o:D )

Your sig always gives me a bit of a boost when I see it - we're getting there hon, aren't we?

Right then, I'm off to make the tea - we're at the interesting stage of the shopping month where I try and cobble together a workable meal out of what random assortment is left in the fridge, freezer and cupboards!

I know we've still got rice, and tomatoes... :o;) :D

    Love Jacks xxx :D

well its payday tomorrow and iv cleared most of the overdraft. we were a grand total of 6p into it today so im very happy. updating today though as im going on holiday tomorrow. nothing special just a cheep week to pontins but at least its a break.
didnt manage to clear the ann summers car yet but thats due to some overspending. iv had alot of trouble on the raf camp were im based wich has ment i had to leave my mums and tots group. husband has been away for 5 weeks and iv had a 2year old to entertain so had to find other things to do with him. things never cost alot but is stuff i wouldnt have to do if i hadnt had to get out. had to do it for my sanity not just his as this is making me ill and giving me panick attacks. not good when im 24 weeks pregnant.
ive got some extra income coming in this month that although wont immediatly be going of debt its meaning i can get through a ridiculous month without getting further into debt. see iv got £450 extra coming in next month wich has to see me through my holiday spends as it would be great to have a good holiday, 5 birthdays, 3 fathers days (not including grandads), 1 wedding, 1 wedding anniversary and my holiday. the thoery is if i can make all this last through those big things the rest of our wage is ours and will leave us very well of next month and i may even be able to pay of some debts. also going to try and do a carboot next month so i can pay some stuff of with that.
i think just to get through next month will be a miracle. so everybody is getting a maximum of £10 or maybe less depends what i find for them (father in laws fathers day present has come from the pound shop, a great tie and cufflinks set for a pound). i have to do what i have to do so people will have to like it or lump it.
sorry for the rant just had loads to say today. hope everyone is getting on ok with the challenge and heres to a good month for us all.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed

Having a good time at the moment, managed to treat myself to some summer clothes at the weekend as I have been very good with my wages this month.

Payday tomorrow and I still have around 800 left from last month, so in total with some money from selling my van I should be able to pay off around 3600 this month towards my target wooop

A loan payment went out today, so the snowball was updated and I have now paid off £8366 so far this year!! Not quite sure if I can get to the half way point by the end of June, but I won't be far off it!!

I am still confident that I can get to the £20k mark by Christmas though :D

    Hi all

Well done to those who have done fantastically, well or OK, to anyone that thinks they haven't done well enough, don't sweat the small stuff, you are still here and that is what matters, you are doing what you can ad it will make all the difference in the end (as the snowball calulator shows us)

I will post my repayments in the next few days and they will come in at about £800 rather than the £1600 I am used to, it will be the same for the next couple of months until I am sorted in my new flat so can't see anythign earth shattering happening my end

I had planned to have an extra £100 at the end of this month for debt busting but I only seem to have £30, not so good. I think I need to take myself back in hand. Oh and my 0% offer ends this month and I missed the one on my other credit card and am in the 'do I/don't I' place for getting a new card to sort it out.

A bit of a tale of gloom apart from moving in to a nice new place on my lonesome - I can't wait.

Cheers honey, it isn't for another three weeks but I am ludicrously over excited and slightly obsessed with it.

I am enjoying buying things again though - don't worry, my parents gave me £200 to buy stuff for the flat and I have bought enough cleaning stuff, loo roll and stuff to last about 6 months (lots of lovely offers in ASDA and Wilkos) as well as crockery, pans and cutlery (on offer from Viners so decent quality that will last for YEARS but isn't ludicrously priced - thanks to southernscouser) and other bits and I still have about £50 so I feel IKEA coming on (OH can't wait - not).

Hi reventon and welcome - this thread keeps me on the straight and narrow when I am pondering frittering away money on utter crap and it keeps me paying as much as humanly possible off my debts.

Your debts are looking a hell of a lot healthier for only 4 and a bit months - very well done.
