Thanks pollyanna and f0xh0les. I've never been called a troll before (can I be a cute one a bit like the princess in Shrek), it did upset me and I immediately deleted the post. Then I read on and lots of people said things in support of me and some who supported the figures I gave and someone reported the person who called me a troll and then the person who I was responding to (worried that she might be paranoid - no it's an appropriate response to our current situation) said had she imagined a long post as she was going to read it later, so at her request I've just tried to recreate it. Ah well the cleaning can wait and I made a beautilicious stew earlier. Still have time to go out and play in my greenhouse and/or polytunnel (probably both as I need to move some things across)My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8

Today I am grateful for my job, for tech, for chocolate, for getting out for a walk with dd, for the constantly-changing clouds, for having a 1000 piece jigsaw to do..

Today I am grateful for planting seeds, for the greenhouse and polytunnel and all the bits mum doesn't know about yet (they should arrive before the seedlings are ready to go outside), for support from others, for Paul O'Grady and the love of dogs, for mum coming out to get me and tell me to pack in for the night. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7

Sorry for being missing again. I have had a tummy bug for the last couple of days and have been lounging in bed. No idea how I got it as I haven't been in contact with anyone but Himself and we've been eating the same things.
Our nice new bookcase arrived on Tuesday. The delivery man had to leave it outside the door so Himself and I trying to maneuver it inside must have been a sight. Then Iast night I received an email from DPD saying they are delivering my order today. They didn't say what the order was but from the sound of it it looks like the bookcase. I hope they haven't sent another one. If they do the delivery man will have to take it back because I'm not going through all that again.
More seedballs and compost have arrived as well so I have them to plant today plus a washing to get done and a hovering to get rid of all the bits of packaging. Better get on then.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
Well, the order turned out to be a book I've ordered for Himself's birthday in July. I don't know what all that was about. They could just have posted it through the letterbox as usual. Must have their reasons, I suppose.
So, I'm feeling a lot better. Did all the washing and other chores and I've finalised this week's Tesco order. It's becoming just a top up now but trying to stop Himself thinking of things to buy that we don't really need is becoming quite difficult. We're really well stocked up and my absolute treasures of neighbours are picking up anything else that we need. Unfortunately he's been browsing through my many cookery books hence the suggestion of us needing some very obscure ingredients.
I missed all the "thing" about Mothernerd . Honestly, I can't in my wildest imagination think how anybody could say anything bad about her. She is a true inspiration. So kind, thoughtful and does so much for other people. I wish I could be like you, Mothernerd.
Having pizza from freezer for dinner. We very rarely have take aways but a little family run restaurant has opened up for collections and deliveries and we are planning have something next weekend. When it opened a couple of years ago it made such a difference to the area because we didn't have a nice little local restaurant. Then the virus and they had to close. Just want to support them because it must be so difficult when you've worked that hard to build up a business and a reputation and then potentially have everything taken away.
So I'm off to talk to the little ones for a little while, From a safe distance, of course.

Toni'sFriend - I agree with you 110% about mothernerd. I have never known her to be anything other than supportive, reassuring and completely inspirational. Hope you're (both) feeling lots better today.
I've managed to have a productive week workwise and got lots done - I'm in at work tomorrow so won't get much extra stuff done but that is what I'm paid for.
I'm out of cash and still well over a week away from payday unfortunately. Never mind. We have everything we need and our health and happiness as well so as long as I can still feed us then that's ok too. I've survived with less than this.
Other gratitudes: My garden, my kids, my cats, the weather looking lots better, being able to get out for a walk.
