Hope today has gone well, abundant!Today I am grateful for dd having a revision day, for sorting out plans for assessing my kids, for an email from big sis, for getting a workout done, for pro bull riding, for not having to make decisions that are really big and important but just ones that are important for my family, for even more sproutlings - it almost offsets the fact that I very nearly managed to kill off a thriving mint plant!!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Evening all, still feeling down, another day of work, LO had a good day at nursery, she’s got a boyfriend apparently (little boy came back after a few weeks away, she’s spent the whole day following him round). Grateful for amusing stories from LO’s nursery, looking into the garden and seeing a lovely fox just sitting there, OH being happy he can play golf if he can find a golf club (he plays with a work colleague and they are both still working as it’s considered essential retail)7

Morning everybody I am hoping to recover today after just feeling incredibly off for a couple of days. I fell in a ditch on Friday and hurt my leg and I think it just made my body go stooop what in the world is going on, it's not funny, we can't keep going on like this! Worst but was basically not sleeping Sunday night and then being so cold last night that I went to bed at 8. But here I am ready to go.
SO I am grateful for feeling better and unwillingly facing more weeks of lockdown, for my boys still getting on with things and cooking all of last week, for sitting in the garden till 10 PM Saturday evening and sipping G&T with my 17 year old and talking and reminiscing, grateful for SD walks actually being allowed from tomorrow, as well as longer trips - I think we'll be off to the beach on a sunny day in June, also need to stop by uni son's house to pick up some bits.
Have a lovely day every body.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Weighing in on the weight side of things - In March I started weighing in every Saturday and even though I am only 4lb down I am thank full for the ones I have kept off in this odd time. Weight is about long term and about being nice to yourself in a sensible way. Anyways best of luck on the weighing in stuff. I'm following the Old school weight loss thread elsewhere, but I dont have the patience to track everything I eat! Like crumble yesterday! But I am being mindful, think I need to be a bit more tough though!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Ditty - I'm mindful of what I eat too. Mindful that it makes it all the way to my mouth without falling off the fork!

“We all change, when you think about it. We’re all different people all through our lives. And that’s OK, that’s good, you gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be.”“It is difficult to know what will be a waste of time until after the time has been wasted, by which time it is too late. So predicting what will be a waste of time is something of a waste of time. Unless it gives you pleasure of course when it probably doesn’t count as a waste of time.”2 more Dr Who quotes

I'm absolutely awful at feeling I have something to contribute to this thread, I do apologise
I did some first-time baking at the weekend, I made pitta breads to go with a curry and made just normal bread also. I said before I made the normal bread that if I enjoyed it then I would make it a regular thing at the weekend, especially when OH goes back to pulling 14 hour shifts on a Saturday, so that will be something new for the weekends going forward
Going back to tracking calories on MFP (started yesterday) and created a workout routine for myself throughout the week. 17 lbs to my ideal weight, let's see if I can do it. I printed off a quote and stuck it to the fridge that says, "What if this time you didn't quit?". Story of my life! So, this time I'm trying not quittingI will be doing weekly weigh ins (Monday mornings) and monthly comparison photos to try and track.
I am still working as normal, OH is furloughed so concerned about the next few months, so I have told him to request payment holidays where he can and we can sit down when we know whether his employer has any plans to help out with wages (they currently are) and work out a new monthly share of our bills so I pick up more whilst his wage is reduced whilst not leaving myself desolate.
I shall make more of an effort to get on this thread daily (always lurking though!) X

We love a lurker! I got up at 7.30 this morning, and had 2 kids out of the house on bikes by 9.30. Walked down the road to a shop and they did not have what I was hoping to find due to an online tip off (d/f and g/f caramel ice cream cones, 2 boxes for £1) so I got some new, never before heard of, d/f yogurt tubs for 59p and some frozen LM sos rolls, and will do a taste test later.Anyhow, about 3 miles walked and home before 10.20, and kids exercised, and less than £3 spent. So still NSD10.Lunch was a 'clear the fridge' affair. Lots more space in there now, which is good as I bought a shed load of veg yesterday.Going to ignore everything for an hour or two and read a book before making the executive decision of what to make for supper. Whatever it is, it will involve a tonne of veg and yogurt for pud, unless it is nasty,4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Abundant I hope the new job is going well.
Ditty I hope you've recovered from your fall!
I dont feel like I have much to contribute at the moment either, I've forgotten to write for the past couple of days. Sunday i was in loads of pain with my back then yesterday I had a headache so not much to say! I did receive a pay out from my rabbit's pet insurance for her trip to the vet the other day (minus excess) so that's £130 back in savings to go towardsthe car fund. Other than that, just plodding along.9
