The transfer from Yorkshire Energy should be far similar, because Yorkshire Energy have a well functioning billing and account system that is up to date. YE know what their customer's owe them, which is a handy starting point!0 -
bagand96 - from my situation my Tonik final bill was accurate and speedily prepared. It was only when Scottish Power became involved that things went downhill especially relating to the shambles that is their customer service0

Malchester said:Seems like SoLR for Yorshire Energy is ............ Scottish Power!!!!!!!!!That's disgraceful when they can't cope with the Tonik customers complaints. They are in 21st place in the Citizens Advice energy supplier rating. I don't suppose they will stay there for long after the Tonik related complaints feed through. I hope they don't appoint Vinay Mistry of Deloitte as Administrator.
Philippa Pickford, Ofgem’s director of retail, said:
“I am pleased to announce we have appointed Scottish Power for the customers of Yorkshire Energy. Their energy supply will continue as normal and domestic customer credit balances will be honoured.
“Scottish Power will be in contact with customers over the coming days with further information. Once the transfer has been completed, customers can shop around for a better deal if they wish to.”
If anyone wants to complain to Ofgem about their decision to appoint Scottish Power seeing they are unable to sort out the Tonik customers accounts. You could try the following emails.CEO of Ofgem jonathan.brearley@ofgem.gov.ukphillippa.pickford@ofgem.gov.uk (following the same email format as the CEO).

Mabel ... Have emailed Ofgem asking how their recent decisions fit with their policy0

For information - I have just received in my bank account a refund from Scottish Power (this is my DD plus Tonik credit less cost of energy before switch elsewhere). Still have more to come as goodwill gesture covering the cost of the energy used between 10 Oct and 27 Nov yet to be paid but is on its way, so says Chief Exec's Dept1

Malchester. That is an excellent result. How did you manage all of that when some of us are still waiting for the final Tonik bill and a refund of our credit.0
