Forget the idea of using a solicitor to make a claim for defamation (please stop typing 'liable').  You cannot do this.  Stop focussing on the wrong thing.

It was a genuine question as I've never seen weapons or ammunition mentioned in court claims involving parking tickets so was genuinely interested

You can't just file a 'Defence Submunition' (whatever that means) unless given permission by the Court. You have your Defence, and then your Witness Statement. They can't be changed. You can, optionally, also file a Skeleton Argument, setting out the legal points.

Your document is defective for the following reasons:
1. Name of case incorrectly cited. It is UK Parking Patrol v XXXX, not the other way round.
2. Address of Defendant should not be in the header
3. No proper paragraph numbering.
4. The citing of strike-out orders from other courts should be done by attaching copies of the orders, not by copying the text into this document.
5. Mixture of first and third party, 'I' in some places, 'the defendant' in others
6. Mixture of fonts, bold and italics makes the document look like a complete mess
7. Not signed by a CPR-compliant Statement of Truth.

The dog's dinner just became a truckload of Pedigree Chum overturned on the motorway. If anyone from UKPPO is reading this thread, they will be laughing up their sleeves, thinking 'we've got a right muppet here'.
