Bargepole lay reps, so you need to contact - just putting it here isnt ideal, do the research no the forum, find out who has lay rep before, and contact them. Passivity wont help.
You will not win costs for a solicitor back unless you can prove 27.14(2)(g).2 -
Geography is key ... is there someone here who is a) willing to Lay Rep and b) geographically close enough to make this feasible.2
-
As above
You need to ask
Any of the regular reps are more than capable of dealing with BW. THey are SO terrible at this.2 -
Thats the court?
Have you searched for lay reps yet, to see if any can assist? posting here is not going to help find someone, unless they happen to read this thread. That may never happen, or may take too long.
Of course you dont get solicuitor costs on SCT. Thats one of the points of it. Stops them burying people in solicitors as they dont get THEIR costs either.
They do lose - if they lose the claim, it costs them around £300 for their rep. If they win, theyre still down £100.3 -
Use the search function! Use obvious search terms, such as... lay rep... and spend time doing research. That then gives you usernames you can PM. Or at least tag using "@" in this thread, so they get a notification.
This is not earth shattering advice, please try to approach this yourself...1 -

If she needs an interpreter, did you state this on the DQ? Have you told the court this at any point?3.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), any person may exercise rights of audience in proceedings dealt with as a small claim in accordance with rules of court.(2) A lay representative may not exercise any right of audience:–(a)where his client does not attend the hearing;(b)at any stage after judgment; or(c)on any appeal brought against any decision made by the district judge in the proceedings.Irvine of Lairg, C.
I'm probably missing something so feel free to advise what that is, but why can't a lay rep be a witness too ?3 -
I've been shown this before but can't find - @bargepole @Coupon-mad can you confirm?1

Not a hope.
Dont talk to CAB. CAB are utterly and completely useless, with a script written for them by the parking companies.2 -
There is no way any lay rep from this forum would agree to present this scattergun case, sorry.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
