You can apply online, so it's no hassle. I'm also going to claim 2hrs of my time, work rate at x1.5 rate. I've got documented history of a previous refund. So this 'beyond our control' clause is nonsense when I've paid for extra insurance.Life__Goes__On said:
Jim,jimexbox said:I booked purple parking, originally Stansted and paid extra for cancellation waver. BA cancelled the flight in January, nothing to with covid 19, and I received a refund from purple parking. I changed the flights and rebooked the parking to Gatwick.
Flights are now cancelled due to the pandemic and purple parking issue a voucher even though I paid extra again for the cancellation wavier.
It's only 68 quid, but I've decided on principle to go through the smalls claims court to recover the money. It will cost me 25 quid, see what happens.
 Glad to hear it.
Please update with further info when you have it.0

Your are totally correct, utter carp.
It's why I'm trying so hard to tell people this be it on this site or others, to stand up for their legal right.

A voucher is fair if you've not paid extra for insurance, completely out of order for them to disregard cancellation cover that you have paid extra for. Their tactic is to ignore everyone and hope they go away. Let's see what happens..

They have also deleted their previous updates full of people moaning in the comments, as well as turned off the ability for others to post on their wall.
EDIT - they are also deleting all the comments from yesterdays update. Remarkable.0

I feel sorry for the staff, it's not their fault that the bigwigs are complete idiots and treating their customers like something on the bottom of their shoe.

Started the ball rolling, made an online claim using the small claim court process. I'll happily go to court and speak myself, I don't need a solicitor.

I dont blame you but dont you need to show the court you have made efforts to resolve it yourself first? Emails, a Letter Before Action etc?jimexbox said:Started the ball rolling, made an online claim using the small claim court process. You probably should send them a letter via Recorded Delivery also, giving them 30 days to resolve to your satisfaction before you take action.jimexbox said:

You dont want it rejected because it is deemed you havent done enough to resolve it before going legal.1
