Once you receive the text i would advise you to ring again to request your copy because they most likely won't send you one unless you do. This has happened to me a few times.

Yup some of them will refuse to send it and they'll tell you that they no longer send it before a decision's been made. Of course in the UK that's not true, they will send it.

I hope so, hopefully this week. I've decided I'm going to think I'm not going to get anything and then I won't be disappointed. But if I do. I will be over the moon, and have a party with no guests because of the lockkdown

    Best way.
And as Poppy12345 will tell you. You will find out if you got anything via your bank account, before the letter arrives.

When you receive the report look for the activities/descrptiors towards the back, they will have dots next to them. Use the PIP descriptors online to add up what points may have been recommended. They are not added in the report because it's just a recommendation. Usually they go with the report, it's rare to go against it.
If there is an award recommended then yes born_again is correct any backdated money usually arrives before the award letter.

Of course if you're not happy, you'll have 1 month from the date of the decision to request the MR.

Just thought I'd check with dwp to see if they had sent me the medical report out as I want happy with the woman I spoke to yesterday. I felt she didn't want to send it. I spoke to another lady who said my medical report had only arrived today (not true as I had text ) and their was no record of my conversation with the dwp yesterday . I couldn't believe it. That is disgusting. Today's advisor said she would send the medical report out but it would take 7 to 10 days. Really........

Remember it’s also up to 10 working days not just “days” and RM are also not delivering letters on Saturdays no longer plus add in longer delays with RM at the moment in general you could be waiting a lot longer. Just a heads up.
