Thinking of Valli, YL, Iona and anyone else who needs a hug.
I have been grumpy all day, cannot settle to anything, tired, house a mess, it's too hot outside then I was cold in the living room, oh get a grip ASB.
Back tomorrow with a positive head on x10 -
Hugs and gentle hand holding asb, you are allowed to feel grumpy and out of sorts. Thinking about you Iona, and hope your day was OK Round my love. Paid stuff done, chilli made, walked the dog with DS1 (who really shouldnt be leaving the garden but we just went a short way down the track near the house where you can see someone coming a mile away). Towels washed and dried outside. DS2 is grumpy, cant cope with staying in the house for weeks, well I know its tough but he doesnt have much choice unfortunately. Fayolle I am stressed about food deliveries too.
Tired tonight, no bad thing, I will hopefully sleep properly.11 -
Good evening xx
I'd got all my work done by 9.30 am - was then just waiting for the phone to ring, or emails to ping: neither of which happened very often. I'm not good with enforced idleness but I made it through to 4.30pm. They've got the radio back on in the other office - I do hope it disappears when / if I go back in there. (I've dropped a few hints that I like it in the new office and would be happy to stay there - so we'll see)
The bin has been put out ready for collection tomorrow. I've emptied the kitchen bin and replaced the bin bag. Minimal flying as usual for a work day. I took my Toots Lists book to work with me and was able to cross off quite a few things which I've got done on my Mondays off - so I'm feeling keen to get started again. H2H
Hugs to all

re DS's GF - She's getting better; just hope she come out 'clean'.
Another baby has lost its mother to Covid. Heartbreaking.
Kitchen, bathroom done. Ironing up to date. DR vacuumed. Rubbish out - black bin only half full but may well have been fille d by neighbours who had a delivery with loads of polystyrene. I know tip is shut so told them to use mine if they needed to.

Valli - that's good news about DS's GF xx
Hugs to everyone who needs them right now xx
I went off list today. Washing bedding, cleaned kitchen, phoned a few clients...I know I can't work but most of them have become more like friends so it's nice to have a catch up with them. DS unloaded the dishwasher WITHOUT BEING ASKED!!! I think the shock on my face said a lot.
Tomorrow will probably also be off list as I need to take half of the Mr T shop that's coming to my mum, do some baking (i'm actually enjoying this) and I want to plant some more veg. Might wash DS's bedding too.
Sleep well everyone xx11 -
Twinkle got the school place email.. she is (obviously) going to the same school as the other 3.. shocker.. I hope everyone else is pleased with their allocation too. I just hope she gets to spend some more time at nursery with her lovely friends, she absolutely loves it and the transition is very much needed she is still very babyish.
Love and hugs to all those suffering for whatever reason.. and sending sticks for BD's.
I am utterly exhausted today for some reason.. I got a bit of a flurry on and filled a few binbags ... about 3/4 of the black bin .. and moved some stuff in the middle room so DS1 has some more floor space and we can access the kitten pen via the french doors.. the kittens LOVE being able to dash in and out!.. DS1 rather likes them dashing about too.
OH playing on the xbox.. I've got the email I was waiting up for so now my knitting and I are heading to bed.

Yay, good news for Twinkle xx
I woke up, saw a glorious sunrise, got up, stripped my bed so that I couldn't get back into it, made a cuppa, have checked the finances, and am about to get back to the still ongoing family history task - but I know I have already recorded most of the pile of paperwork in front of me as I can see the ticks on the top right hand corners of the papersso I have hopes of finishing before breakfast
Other plans: for today:
- make space for greengrocery delivery
- move plants delivered yesterday into trays for easy watering until i can get them in the ground/pots, and watch out for the delivery of the pansies that were missed off my order
- no excuses not to clean all through the house!
- 2 phonecalls
- weed the rest of the border down the drive that my neighbour started a couple of weeks ago, and throw out all the old flower seeds in the hope that some of them will germinate in the gravelly sandy soil (it supports dandelions so should be OK)
- plant out broad beans into a large patio pot
- water all the pots
- Rosie's
Catch up later. (((Hugs))) all round xxx
ETA: I keep forgetting to post this link to a really good recipe for cake without eggs, in case asb or anyone else wants to try it. Best left for a few days before eating, so that it goes moist! We are decluttering a small piece of some sort of cake every afternoon with a cuppa and enjoying every morsel This is one that DH asked me to make again. It may not do much for his waistline, but it keeps him happy and therefore helps me to stay sane

Good news re: Valli's DS GF xx and a second yay for Twinkle xx
I hope everyone had a good night's sleep - I was awake at 2.30am so I offered to take one for the team - I'd stay awake if you all could have a peaceful night. Oh I am so nice
Good job I put the bin out last night - the bin men are on their way (I can hear them). Bye bye cardboard and plastic (waves). Thank you Mr Binmen.
I've paid the rent online (while I remembered!) and I will bring in the bin, feed the birds and put out the recycling. Groundhog Day
I've found another new to me car that I would like to buy. I've emailed the garage asking about the warranty. If they reply (with an acceptable answer) I'm going to ask for first dibs on the car when they reopen, or ask if I can buy it using social distancing techniques. If I'm nowhere in two weeks I'll have to tax Pip for 6 months, and buy a new battery - what price peace of mind!
Have a good day ladies xx
Stay safe

Morning all,
Another glorious day here. I will head out for a walk shortly with the dog, then get the bedding into wash (CBA doing it yesterday). Hopefully by the time we get back from our walk the milkman will have been, we get our milk, eggs and butter from him and have none! Nothing too exciting other than that, which is actually quite nice in a way, a boring life means no drama! Right, I'm off to throw on my dog walking gear and rally the small people.
Have lovely days all x10 -
Good morning
Good news, Valli.
And Twinkle - but when did you get old enough to go to school!
Bed stripped, wm running, dw emptied, overnight oats eaten, WULTD. I’m peaking early today.
This morning I’m not at work, so it will be a couple of hours at the allotment, trying to get it fit for actually planting something useful. It is getting soul destroying, but I’ll keep going now that I’ve got this far. This afternoon I need to do something indoors that MAD, as the garden just sucks the time away.So on that note, I will get dressed, hopefully then the washing can hang out, and off I will trot with my bucket and fork.
Have a lovely day, ladies, and stay safe x10
