Good morning!
I have already completed Round 1 of getting up, dressed, breakfasted and checking the bank accounts. I now need to be a bit more productive! DH is already painting in the garden. Hopefully he will finish today, and get some other stuff done! He is so frustrating to watch as he faffs about with brushes that are too small!!
Round 2
De-scale the kettle
Plant potatoes in bags
Empty food bin into Lottie the Hottie
Ok - that'll do for starters.
Have a good day everyone!

Morning all
Sorry for being MIA again 😒. I managed all of the list on Monday lol! It was a good weekend overall, strange not to go out but I read 2 whole books plus about 2/3 of the one I had already started. My kitchen didn’t get the deep clean but hey ho, tomorrow is another day and all that.
Yesterday was paid stuff, wm x1, posted a parcel with some books and a cake to FIL and dailies and that was it.
More productive today, before paid stuff I...
s/s kitchen
cleaned downstairs loo and ensuite
wm x1 and pegged on the line, loaded another one to do on the timer so I can peg it out when I break for lunch
cat boxes emptied, washed and refilled
quick vac of ground floor
laundry from yesterday FUPA
cuppa made, back to paid stuff now, Take care all xx10 -
Round 2 done. Just breaking for lunch then heading to the lottie with a trolley load of soil, card & the last large raised bed. DH is still painting.......😂
So Round 3 consists of laying the last bed & filling it, then pottering around before heading home. I will decide on Round 4 when I return 🙂9 -
Afternoon
paid stuff done, just got second load of dry washing in. FUPA. Also cleaned the other bathroom. Just waiting now for DH to finish work so we can head out for a walk in the evening sunshine. Easy supper planned when we get back.
After supper will reset kitchen, shopping list and menu plan need to be written, my turn for the supermarket trip this week I think. That will be done in the morning.
Have a good evening all. Thinking of you xx10 -

Work done, now I am shattered. DH has brought the washing in off the line, but the ironing will have to wait until tomorrow.Hope you get some good news soon, Valli. Hugs x8

Good evening
I spent an hour or so at the allotment, weeding, watering seedlings and laying the last raised beds. I think I may put the smaller beds in the front garden as that definitely needs sprucing up!
There has been no Round 4. I'm showered, DH has cooked dinner and I am now chilling in front of the TV for the evening. I am going to sort out an order for the local nursery to deliver some plants and compost. There is an £8 charge for delivery, but I would rather pay that and support a local business than pay one of the big companies.
Round I hope you had a good day at work
Valli fingers crossed for some good news soon x
Tomorrow will be mainly spent gardening again, here and at the allotment. I am making the most of the good weather!

Evening all. Sorry, been MIIA (missing in in-action) as have just not felt up to much today. Not ill, just cheesed off.
I started the day well by finally proving which family S's ancestor belonged to, and things went downhill from there.
The family history papers are spread all over my bed, so I have got to get the final bits of recording done by 9 pm or I can't watch TV or go to bed.
The LR is dusty but I didn't get the duster out, or the hoover, even though Rosie is shedding lumps of hair, as she does every spring (ie absolutely normal for her).
I find the extreme changes of temperature between the sunny side of the house and the non-sunny side very discomnobulating!
My plants delivery finally arrived late this afternoon, but without one of the trays of pansies I'd paid for. They will drop it off tomorrow.
DH is grumpy about anything and everything and has forgotten his Ps and Qs more than once today - that really annoys me!
I have tried to phone S three times and she isn't answering. Maybe I upset her on Monday when she kept on and on about "How long long is this going to last?" and I refused to speculate. I don't know any more than she does.
However...
The sun has shone all day
The garden flowers are bright and cheerful
The remainder of the plant delivery is very good quality
Another friend phoned me (instead of me having to ring her)
Rosie enjoyed her walk, and we met an old man who I haven't seen for ages and he and his 16 yo dog are both fine
DH and I ate some more of the yummy chocolate orange cake
and I have cooked 2 good meals without burning anything
And I will put my wings out on the chair ready for a blitz tomorrow
Hoping for good news for Valli's DS and everyone else worried about friends and relatives.
(((Hugs))) all round xxx
