Wow! KazM you have been busy!! Well done. Maybe tomorrow will be the day I achieve something........
Goodnight all. YL I hope you get a good night's sleep xx11 -
Morning xx
I couldn't remember if you were back at work today YL so I've been willing you on just in case; and that has helped me to push through the anxiety and get ready too. Hopefully you could feel me squeezing your hand and whispering 'we can do this!'
My anxiety is through the roof this morning - I want to stay in my safe little sanctuary, but I can't. So I'm showered, hair is washed, I'm dressed and lunch is packed. I've changed the towels in the bathroom and replaced the empty shampoo bottle with a full one + flung a bottle of conditioner that arrived on the Ark and no-one uses.
Birds will be fed, and cereal box recycled.
I do hope my car starts this morning!
Much love to you all

Goodi - that is so sad. No words - lots of hugsxx

Good morning 😁
Onwards & upwards! It is too easy to lounge about in bed when you aren't working, and that doesn't do anybody any good! (I am trying to convince myself here! 😂) However, my f!tb!t is on charge, so there is no point moving!! 😂 So I am having a cuppa and planning my day instead. I think I need to sort a corner (or table/drawer/shelf/something!) to get me started. Also shopping needs doing, and so does the bathroom. I also need feeding!
Have a good day everyone. Round I hope the car started & you have a good day at work.10 -
Morning all,
You’ve got this, Round. We are all behind you. Like some long okey- cokey chain.
GI - that is awful and very, very sad news.
I’ve not really got a lot else to report. Like others, I am anxious and sad in the extreme, much as I appreciate being at home, with the family all safe here. DH is back working in the dining room, so we will be keeping out if his way until about 6pm. Yesterday I gave the bathrooms a good and apparently very necessary clean. Today I think I will, amongst other things, have to tackle some paperwork. For the moment, the wm is on, and when that is done, I will hang it outside, and maybe even clear the ironing pile from the weekend.Take care everyone.x11 -
Morning all. Stripped my bed yesterday so that's two loads through (king size sheets so wash separately). Hopefully I can get my car insurance sorted today - wouldn't connect to website yesterday (through Quidco). Today's list needs doing but I would like to wash the car first.
Wrote my will yesterday - simple enough - but cannot get it printed (no printer) and even if I could I cannot get it witnessed. Was free t do through my union. (Insert rotating head of Martin Lewis here)

YL and Round - I am thinking of you both today and sending you Flylady vibes and strength. YL I meant to ask - how did the debt clearing go?Bright sunny day here but very cold. I have a wash on the go and the dog has already had a walk. I must bake a cake today, and lunch will be from the stores again. I refuse to spend any money until Thursday (payday). So in here we have an escape date, 11th May. 4 more weeks. I am not convinced I will be back working then as it is a 'start deconfining from' date. We live in an area that was hit hard early on (out schools were closed a week before most), but has actually not faired too badly so far (fingers crossed).
OH still on holiday today so although he has a couple of conf calls he can't avoid he is trying to not just sit and work. We enjoyed the long weekend and tried not to dwell on the fact we should have been away with both DDs and friends for 5 days by the sea. We actually had a photo/video challenge so we 'went camping' and got stuck in a traffic jam on the way home. Great fun setting up the tent in the garden for the photos and then moving the cars around to form a traffic jam!
DD2 had a melt down on Saturday night and Sunday was very difficult for her, but after spending most of the day talking to her she perked up again Monday and the holiday video/photo challenge helped her a lot. (I didn't know you could go surfing in a 15 square metre studio appartment, or ride a unicycle round in it).
Off to make coffee now and do some bits and bobs

Mademoiselle sounds like a fun thing to do, glad you have an escape date.Paperwork day here, it seems the rental on the lock up, I have was due last Tuesday, so just rung them up and paid up, he says he is not chasing folk atm and giving them 2 weeks grace to pay up when ready.Sorting out the house move file, from where I was, however I now don't have my shredder, so I am going to collect it all together in a carrier bag for when I re 'find' the shredder.Need to / email / ring the house rental company as next week we will have had our 28days and see if I can extend, if not I will then have a week to find something else, and not 3 hours like when we arrived here.So miss my cat, I know he is safe and very well looked after, but is just not the same as him being with meBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
