Hi all x
Jue I feel your pain. Hugs pal x I only have one more of my antibiotics to take but I've not got toothache, pain or swelling anymore.
Narco happy birthday 🎂
OH and I got up about 8am this morning, so I've made us both breakfast, WUALTD and put a load of towels in the WM. DD is asleep still. I will need to go out later I need bread, milk and potatoes. In fact I might see if I can get a delivery from the local shop then I don't need to come into contact with as many people.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged13 -
Round 1 is still ongoing!
Dad phoned to see what time the C00p opened as he'd been down and it was shut. Open 9am til 6pm today, he went down at 8.30am. That conversation made me decide to go fetch bread, and other supplies to last the week. Car won't start!!!!
DB brought his battery charger and has left it here for me to remove later - eek. If you hear a loud bang south of the Humber piggers - it's me blowing myself up! Extension lead is through the living room window this time - I've pulled the window as closed as I can and tittivated the curtain to prevent as much of the draught as I'm able.
DS has come down and offered to fetch the shopping - so I've written a list.
I've texted my supervisor to check where I'm working tomorrow - still in the new to me office and we are two down, so hopefully I will be kept busy enough to feel needed where I am.
Right - Sweetie's seed.
Rxx

Happy birthday Narc0 🎂
Towels have blown about on the line all morning, so I think they must be dry by now. I’ve done 3 hours digging at the allotment, so any enthusiasm has well and truly left me. I seem to be the only one left with weeds now - there seems to have been a massive effort by everyone else over the past couple of days. I need to do some indoor flying I think to recharge my guag, as outdoors is similar to tackling the Forth Bridge atm.
DH has dismantled the microwave across the kitchen table. I’m not even going to bother asking why.13 -
Major headache today. I couldn't get out of bed until 3pm.. I have had loads of drugs and several cups of tea.. fixed the budget for the month now I have a vague income.. I need to play catchups on gas and electric.. the electric was due to be billed last month (£614 for 4 months) and they haven't done it.. so I need to get some paid off that before they do.. and the gas bill is due next week too (£304 currently). I have got most other stuff up to date .. I have the loan payment put aside to pay on Wednesday when my mother gives me her portion. I have moved some standing orders to pay on Mondays and reduced my mortgage payments to cover December and rounded up to increase the overpayment a little each month. I am £200 behind on what I should have paid so far this year but will catch that up once the loan is finished in August. 5 payments left!!!! I CANNOT wait to get rid of that!
Sending OH to shop for something for the girls dinner.. we are having mince and mash I think.. I will have salad and prawns and the girls will have whatever he can source.. they had beans on toast yesterday and as much as they would love having that again they are not.. besides, we have no bread!
WM x2 since I got up which I now need to hang out.
DW needs doing but I can't bend over to do that because my head might fall off!
Kittens playing outside in their pen.. glad they like it! They need some toys out there and a place to poop and a door for people to access it form the outside.

Happy Birthday Narco 🎂
I don’t know where today has gone! I got up ate my overnight oats, WUDUPA, got washed & dressed & seem to have spent the rest of the time in the kitchen!! I suppose I have made the overripe banana into some cookie ‘things’! 😁. I have prepared my version of the ‘PON’, ‘Chicken, ham and leek pie’, we have no leeks or ham so substituted with mushrooms & bacon, just waiting for OH to ring & day he is on his way home & then I can cook tea.'Money and good health is coming easily to Flypeople'14 -
Good evening
Happy birthday Narc0
I have had a really lazy day! I haven't done much except lots of shredding and walking the dog! Yesterday I was a bit busier in the garden - tidying and sowing seeds. I already have little seedlings from my sowings earlier in the week! DH has been painting the shed.
It was the MILs 90th birthday today. My kids (including DD1 who is not at home with us) all video called her, which was interesting! We then added my mum into the call, and it was quite chaotic, but very funny - especially at the end of the call where they are both saying 'how do I stop it?'
We had some very sad news locally. A fellow childminder had an emergency C-section on 4/4, but after complications and testing positive, she died yesterday after never having held her new babyThe baby is fine, and goes home tomorrow. She was a lovely lady, but now taken from us. We have been arranging a collection for her family amongst a few of the childminders and someone is dropping it round tomorrow. It really is an evil virus
Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them. I will try harder tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Narco
Lolly I hope your uncle is ok and home soon
Piggers Hope you're feeling better
Goodint Sorry to hear such awful news, that must be devastating for the family. your story about MIL made me smile, my brother told me today that Mum & Dads broadband is being connected on 21st, now that should be fun. Last time we gave mum a smart phone and set her up a facebook account she went mental and said it was an invasion of her privacy and then moans when her sister knows more about what the family are doing than she does. Fun times ahead I think!
So I didn't get half as much done today as I wanted but at least I have the satisfaction of knowing that what I did has been done properly and not DH style (not that he's lifted a finger today other than for his G&T and Doom!).
Offpiste:-
Bathroom
Remove cobwebs
Dusted light fittings
Tidied and dusted all shelves
Sorted all the toiletries (we have a ridiculous amount once I'd added DD's stash she brought home from uni)
Threw a load of carp and old toiletry boxes
Emptied and cleaned bins
Scrubbed bath & shower
Cleaned window wiped blind and sill
Cleaned toilet and sink
Wiped skirting boards
Swept and mopped floor
Top hallway & stairs
Removed cobwebs
Dusted light fittings
Wiped skirting boards
Tidied & dusted bookshelf
Took boxes up to attic that DD dumped on the landing after her return
Took up runners and hoovered them and carpets
Replaced puppy pads both under and top of runners
Hoovered stairs
Dusted stairs
Kitchen
Washed up - twice
Prepped dinner
Wiped surfaces twice
Wiped cooker
Cleaned sink & shined the taps!
Utility
WM x 2
Mopped floor when the WM leaked water everywhere after DH didn't tighten the filter when I cleaned it a couple of days ago!
TD x 2
Folded washing and put away.
and I walked the dog
There will be a list strategically placed for tomorrow, you don't ask DH or tell him to do something as that will backfire, you just hint and hope for the best.
I now have to make sure I have everything prepped for tomorrow's interviews.
Enjoy the rest of the evening x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!13 -
