If you pay now the ccj stays on your file. So, don't
loook, have you read the newbies thread? You updated your logbook! Yes or no. Did you get a copy of it sent to new address? And so on
yiu have to get a set aside. It's the only possible way to clear your credit file. No ifs or buts.2 -
If a PPC is using a forbidden number it should be reorted to Trading Standards. The same applies to card surcharges. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

Sorry OP from your posts I had assumed you wanted to pay, however, if you want to fight it, follow the advice given on this thread, especially about set-asides but I still think you should make sure you have a copy of the actual judgment in your hands.2

AS Above, if you pay the CCJ off it will stay on your file, marked as satisfied and still trashing your credit for 6 years
If this happened to me, i would be looking at putting a claim in against the landowner who employed/allowed CEL to operate to reclaim all costs and be fairly compensated for time spent in dealing with thisIf you know, a little background information would also be helpful:Who's car park was this?Where is/was this car park? Why did your vehicle receive a parking charge notice in the first place? From the Plain Language Commission:

but given that I have never received any Paperwork, how can I get the actual judgement in my hand?Le_Kirk said:Sorry OP from your posts I had assumed you wanted to pay, however, if you want to fight it, follow the advice given on this thread, especially about set-asides but I still think you should make sure you have a copy of the actual judgment in your hands.

OK, I see now you found out by checking your credit file. The place to call is the CCBC and the phone number is 0300 123 1056. Seems like you phoned the parking company which is why you got the "down to earth lady." If you phone CCBC with any reference numbers from your credit reference agency and/or your VRM, they should be able to get the paperwork (judgment) to you. Have your tried phoning the CCBC yet? Obviously too late now until Tuesday and I read that they are always busy so you might be hanging on for a while.2

I moved house and sent the cv5 form off to change address, I am new to the laws and processes here when driving and vehicles and addresses? but the DVLA didn't update my details and I didn't receive any post about traffic offenses, I didn't know I should have been sent a copy from the DVLA? I thought that it was done,
I would like to clear it straight away if I knew about it.
