Last night I had an update from the police - he was interviewed under caution, he had a solicitor and had been advised to say no comment to everything, so even though he'd earlier admitted hitting me to the police he now didn't say anything. This meant that they couldn't send him on the course as he hasn't admitted he's done anything, so there is no further action at this stage, however the policewoman told me to call if there is anything further and she will personally go and arrest him and charge him with harassment. She also said the allegation will remain on file and may show up on a DBS check, which he needs if he wants to work for another similar company, and I know he was looking to change jobs, she said this really annoyed him. Let's see if that is now the end of it or if he'll try something else ...

Covid vaccine done today - very impressed with our doctors, I was in and out ten minutes before my appointment was due :)
I have topped up on bread and milk, had some soup for lunch and am having a lazy sofa afternoon now, hopefully I will be fine but most people I've spoken to have had aches / flu like symptoms so I'm ready to hunker down for the night, have a hot bath and an early night :)
Nothing much else to report right now, only a few more days to go til we break up for Easter holidays, I can't wait :)

glad you have had yr vaccine, I was poorly for a couple of days, then very tired and washed out for a couple more, with a heavy arm.   dh absolutely nothing.  I have a feeling you need the easter hols to rest and relax, you have been through a lot lately, i def. need a break and holiday, not sure when that will happen though.

Not really any reaction so far - I had a bit of a headache yesterday but was fine after some paracetamol, this morning my arm feels heavy but that's it. I was up at 5.30 planning an early beach walk but realised ds needs his uniform washed and dried for work at 12 so am waiting for the machine to be done before I can go.
Today will be a walk, some footie, some chores although the place is pretty good at the minute and the food shopping.
I'm still doing my 100 push-ups and 10 x 30 second planks a day, I still can only do the push-ups on my knees, hopefully this week I might be able to manage a proper one.

And the holidays are here :):)
We finished at lunchtime today, I have two weeks off and nothing much planned. Obviously I have stuff I want to get done but currently nothing that is booked in. My aims are to get some serious walking done, keep up my planks and push-ups, if the weather permits I want to paint the fences, clean the car and start sorting the garden out a bit. Indoors I want to get the oven cleaned.
Today is just being spent pottering, getting on top of some housework bits and pieces and maybe doing the food shop later.
I've done two loads of washing so far. It's also the start of a new month so I need to sort out the budgets too.

This morning I went for a lovely early morning walk down the beach - 10 miles done and home by 9am to enjoy a coffee in the conservatory :) I've had a shower, done 3 loads of washing which is all drying nicely on the line, tidied up a bit, had a friend round to look at a rattle on my car, and now I'm going to sort the banking for the new month before the football starts at 3. I will probably go for another walk later on to get some more steps in. But first I need to do my list for the two weeks off so that I can start crossing things off :)
