Morning all, another week gone ... some ups and downs this week ... I have an official complaint against me at work, I can't say too much other than the parent who has complained is an ex-colleague of the one who hit me. The headteacher is now fully aware of the situation but I have to wait while the investigation is completed etc, so quite stressful all round really :(

Other than that the foot is healing nicely, I can put some weight on it now but shoes are a struggle still as they squash my toe. The bruising is going now though which is good. Today will be spent doing some housework, then it's a footie day. Ds is at work all day today so it's just me and the dog. I've just done the end of month banking and it's looking healthy, I should have enough left over to squirrel away for my very long overdue haircut once they re-open :)

Tomorrow I am hoping to meet someone for a coffee by the beach, a new one I've started chatting to, I didn't want to start looking again just yet but I was worried that if I didn't I'd let myself slide back to being on my own for ever and I don't want Andy to take that from me. Anyway, this one is 50, a doctor and very scrummy :) He does genuinely look like his photos as we had a quick video chat last night, saves wasting time if there's no attraction I reckon. Let's see, I'm not holding out too much hope but I need to look forward not dwell on mistakes of the past.

  • Even if it's just a coffee and a chat, just getting out and about and speaking to other adults is a good step forward (and atm high in the fun stakes 😂)

Coffee and walk was okay - he was alright but a bit arrogant, on to the next one :)
This afternoon I've got all the windows and the back doors wide open and it's lovely listening to the birds singing in the garden and having fresh air coming in. I had to get some petrol and a few bits and pieces, this afternoon I will make sure all the monies are moved between my accounts ready for the new month ahead.

Morning all, well yesterday I was spoken to re. the complaint ... nothing is happening, no warning etc but I have been told to be careful from now on. My headteacher was brilliant about it. However he did then tell me he has also received a letter from the one who hit me, a 4 page rambling embarrassment basically. He had the nerve to put it in there that he is writing anonymously as he fears for his safety?! Seriously!! Who was the one doing the hitting/being hit?? :o No substance to it whatsoever but more evidence that he is not leaving me alone :( I have spoken with the police again and he is being questioned next Friday. They are convinced he won't do anything else as "he is terrified"?! I however am less convinced ...

Anyway, onto other things ... yesterday was the last day before my kids come back to school, I've missed them loads and they only have 10 weeks at school now before they're done. I can't wait to see them :)

Today will be a housework / footie kinda day, hopefully with some walking chucked in, I can just about walk without a limp now so I won't overdo it but it would be nice to start upping my steps again a bit.I also need to do the food shopping and I want to find a basic weights exercise challenge to follow. I have very little strength and want to tone up a bit more.

Clearly this man has a very unhealthy attitude to women.
I'm glad you spoke to the police again and they are going to speak to him.
He isn't 'terrified', he wants you to be terrified of him and to regret your decision to finish things when of course the only thing you regret is getting involved with him.

I`ve been thinking about this ` episode` and cannot believe he has been so intimidating on so many counts.  I hope you`ve changed your locks!
