Morning all, I had a rubbish nights sleep - the dog decided to get up at 4 and start barking
He did this for about half an hour then went back to bed. I however was wide awake ...
Anyway, this morning I got up and went for a walk, I've done 9.500 steps this morning so can potter about for the rest of the day and shouldn't have any trouble getting to 15,000. I've written myself a little list for this week of bits and pieces I want to get done around the house, nothing too exciting (gut wardrobe, clean kitchen cupboards etc), I will crack on with a few bits from the list today. The sun was out while I was walking and it makes such a difference to my mood, it was a nice reminder that it really won't be long now until the better weather arrivesMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

It really did feel like Spring is on the way today. My dog is a devil for waking me up in the early hours to do a garden patrol. She then promptly goes back to sleep leaving me wide awake😕I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Morning, yet another rubbish nights sleep - ds was up half the night and that kept disturbing me
Hopefully tonight I'll finally manage a decent sleep. I've been checking my fitbit and it seems it's not been recording very accurately - yesterday I walked into town and back and I really made an effort to keep the pace up. My fitbit said I was walking at 3 miles an hour which definitely wasn't right so I tracked the route on mapmyrun - it says I walked 5 miles, my fitbit says I walked 3.5 miles
I've just recalculated my stride length and adjusted my fitbit, hopefully now it will be more accurate. That means I've walked a lot more miles than I'd realised. I have updated my stats on my 2021 miles in 2021 challenge and have now hit 300 miles done so far. The website gives us a map of the USA, we are doing the equivalent of Los Angeles to Chicago, so far i have completed 15% of it which I am very happy with
Today will involve a walk down the beach and pancakes later. Not much else plannedI did make £20 on a free bet last night which I've chucked into the boiler fund and Swagbucks have finally credited me with 1300 points from the mse offer, so another £10 to be claimed there.

Yesterday the plumber came back to replace the bathroom tap, another £90 to find
Today I am going to get some of the jobs done off of my list, I'll put them here so I am accountable then I'll get cracking:- Clean the inside of the car out
- Deliver food voucher to a parent from school
- Clean kitchen cupboards
- Sort 'stuff' piled in the conservatory
- Buy dog food
- Buy lightbulb for bedside lamp
- Pay HMRC (tax credits overpayment)
- Inventory both freezers (again)
- Check on monthly banking stuff
I'll go for a walk later on to get my steps in although doing that lot on the list should help with some of them. I weighed myself and I've now lost 8.5lbs since New Year, very happy with that as I am now only a couple of pounds heavier than I was last summer when I was doing more walking. Have a good day everyone

I'm pootling along quite nicely this morning, ds has gone off to work, I've opened the windows and put some music on and am working my way through blitzing the kitchen. I've also done the freezer inventories, I am not buying any more meat!! The plan is to properly meal plan and use up a large chunk of it, then I need to move all that's left into the indoor freezer and defrost the one in the garage as it's got loads of ice built up in it. Then I'll have space for reduced bargains that I find
I have ditched several unidentified lumps of meat, now to work through what I have in there.
The contents of the freezers are as follows:
Sweet Stuff:- 1 large bag of blackberries (I did have a whole drawer full, I'm working my way through these in my porridge each morning)
- Bag of sliced lemons
- Vimto lollies
- 1 x choc ice, 1 x Mars ice-cream bar
- 1/2 bag mixed veg
- Bag of leeks
- 1/2 bag spinach
- 1/2 bag of peas
- Bag of roast potatoes
- Box of chips
- Portion of mashed potato
- Pot of pasta sauce
- 1 x large pack beef mince
- 1 x pork mince
- 4 x burgers
- 2 x chunks of beef for roasting
- 4 x Chicken kiev's
- 2 x Cod fillets
- 4 x Salmon fillets (2 per pack)
- 6 x cumberland susages
- 12 x chipolata sausages
- Pork casserole
- Fish pie mix
- Diced pork leg
- Bag white fish
- Bag chicken breasts
- 2 x shepherds pie portions
- Diced pork shoulder

Kitchen is finished, I have written the contents of the freezers on the whiteboard so I can cross things off as i use them, that's the plan anyway
I have emptied / tidied the car and put away the bits that needed to come indoors. I've put Mums rubbish bins out for her, collected the dog, done my steps, put a chicken in the oven to roast and I might go and have a nice bath now so I can chill tonight. There's lots on my list for today that I haven't got done but I have nothing planned for the rest of the week so I can carry things over to another dayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
