Morning, I got up early and went out for my walk, I did 6 miles (11,500 steps) so I can potter quite happily indoors for the rest of the day. The weather looks pants so I am looking forward to a chilled kinda day again. I got back about 3o minutes ago, had a shower as I was soaked and cold, stuck a load of washing on and now have just made a coffee and am going to sit here for half an hour and plan the rest of my day.
I did also buy the dog food this morning on my way back, so that's another little job crossed off my list for this week. Today I will try to finish off the stuff that was on the list from yesterday. I also want to try and make some pennies today, either find some matched betting or find some bits to list on ebay. Hopefully some time to work on my cards too :) Lots planned for today, let's see how the enthusiasm goes as the day goes on :)

I haven't had the most productive day, I've mooched and procrastinated an awful lot but it's been nice too. Tonight I've checked the banking and I reckon I've got £157 left til payday (28th). That isn't too bad though as I have a full tank of petrol, plenty of food (just need bread, milk top-ups etc) and no plans to go anywhere or do anything much :)

So today hasn't gone to plan - I was on the phone to my mate earlier, walking around the lounge while we chatted, and I managed to stub my toe on the sofa, clearly breaking my toe. It was off at a 45 degree angle in the wrong direction. Cue a quick trip to minor injuries where they wiggled it back into position while I screamed :) I am now resting on the sofa, feet up, painkillers being popped. Luckily I have done most of my steps already today so just need to hobble around to do another 2,500 later on.
Other than that I have had £40 payout from Quidco which was very welcome and has been added to the boiler fund, it is building up quite nicely already :)
So the rest of today will be mainly laptop mooching based as I can't do much else ... I might do some promoting my cards on facebook groups, I need to put another order in at the weekend as someone has sent me an order, so I will see if anyone else wants anything added to the order. Other than that I will complete some surveys from my inbox, catch up on some threads on here and maybe have a nap :)

Oh no that sounds painful. You’re just like me with the steps. I still managed to get 10k steps a day done with my leg in plaster last year 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Anyone with a Nectar card log into the app and they are giving a free points boost today - I got 1000 points (£5) :)

Is the only way to get this with a phone app or is there a way of getting it online.  I seriously doubt that my phone is up to it!

Hi Badmemory, I think it was only via the app but as far as I know it was just a 24 hour offer?

Ouch to the toe. My DS did the same in early lockdown last year on a chest of drawers, resulting in the same 45 degree angle toe.  :s He was super brave and kept me and the medical staff entertained with his giggling on the entonox they gave him when they put it back into place!
Hope it heals soon, remember to try and keep your weight off it completely. Xx

They didn't give me anything, I had to sit in the car and they came out to see me there, he just wiggled it in the car park, I struggled not to punch him in the face :):)

So yesterday was pretty much just a sofa day, it was too painful to put any weight on my foot. Today will probably be the same again. I thought I was bored in lockdown before but wow, being limited to the sofa is a whole other level. I am missing my walking so much already :(
Anyway, today will involve some matched betting and more mindless mooching on the internet :) No roast dinner planned as its too much effort, I do have some gammon in the fridge, I might bung that in the slow cooker and have that with some mashed potato later.
I'm meant to be back to work tomorrow and i do have a few things I need to go in for but at the moment I can only get my old Ugg boots on or flip-flops so I'm not sure it's going to be do-able, just the walk from the car park is gonna be a killer.
