Wow, what a great pile of bargains👍🏻

Fridge has been cleaned and decluttered, cupboard under the sink has also been tidied and I shouldn't need to buy any cleaning products for the next year, I've got bucket loads under there. Tall cupboard in the dining room has been tidied and cleaned, there's still some lockdown emergency supplies in there (8 tins of tuna, 3 bags of pasta, a bag of rice, a bag of pudding rice, 500 teabags and a bag of self-raising flour).
First load of washing is on, now time to potter and do other little bits and pieces.Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

All my Christmas stock for my cards has been stock-taked and boxed up ready for next year. I need to do the rest of my everyday stock at some point too but probably not today. Time to do a few more bits then the footie starts

Those of you that have been here a while will remember that I did a virtual walk over the summer - Lands End to John O'Groats. I loved it and it made a massive difference to my mental health as well as my weight. So, with a new year just around the corner. I have signed up for a new challenge tonight: Walk 2021 miles in 2021. It actually isn't as bad as it sounds, it works out around 6 miles a day. I can't wait to get started, it will make me feel so much better but first I've got two days to enjoy sitting on my bum guilt-freeMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning, ds went out with his girlfriend last night for a walk and ended up meeting their 2 other mates and coming back here at 1am. I was not impressed, they were very quiet but I was still awake and then couldn't get back to sleep until 3.30. I needed to be up early today as Andy has his chiropractor appointment so I am sitting with his kids for half an hour while he's there, so I am chugging back some strong coffee to wake me up a bit. I can feel an afternoon nap heading my way this afternoonMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Happy New Year!! So this morning I set off excitedly to start my new walking challenge ... and just two miles in I managed to slip on some ice and have cut my knee to bits. I now have a huge hole in my leggings and a bump like an egg on my knee. I hobbled home and cleaned it up and have pottered indoors for the rest of the day. I have managed to do 15,000 steps though so am happy with that. I have also not had any sugar today, I have a monster headache but that could also be a bit of tiredness causing that too.
I am not sure if I have mentioned before but my boiler has been on the way out for a while now and it seems the time has very nearly come for me to need to replace it. So this years extra moneysaving bits and pieces will be going into a newly made boiler fund. I have the money that I have saved to repay my brother that he has said I can use to pay for it for now, and then I will repay back into that pot. I have signed up to do some of the testing in school for the next couple of weeks, so that should be a welcome addition to the fund this month. The market research project i had signed up to has now been postponed until the end of February but at least the testing will cover the money i would've made there. It will mean long days for a couple of weeks (I'm rota'ed for the testing from 4.30 - 7pm, after work 4 days a week and all day Sunday).
Tonight ds is at work so I am having a lazy quiet one, checking some banking bits, maybe doing a few surveys etcMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Morning all, well the knee is still very sore, I don't want any clothes sticking to it or rubbing on it, and it's too cold for just a skirt, so today is just gonna have to be a pj day
I've had a bath, got clean pj's on and am going to have to get my steps done indoors today.
I have changed the bed and remade it, the first load of washing is on, generally the house isn't too bad at the moment so hopefully just a quick sweep through will suffice today. Andy is coming over about 5 today and we'll watch the football together later, my food shopping is coming between 5-9 tonight, I managed to get a delivery slot a couple of days ago which I am now very grateful for
So, plans for today:
Steps
Housework / general pottering
A bit more planning for 2021 finances
Hopefully a nsd (apart from the food shop which was already accounted for)Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
