So we went to the tip and got rid of a few bits and bobs that were cluttering up the garage. Then we went to the Range to get a new curtain pole for ds room as his has fallen apart. The number of people in there was bonkers - it was like Christmas Eve and no distancing going on whatsoever, so we got out of there very quickly. We popped into the supermarket and got a few bits then home again. Andy's gone home now as he's got his kids tonight, I'll see him again tomorrow afternoon.
Tonight I am mooching online, checked what bits I've got put away for Xmas (not much at all yet really), and am doing some banking bits. Ds is working tonight so should be home around 10ish.

I was going to go for a run this morning but my fitbit is dead and the weather is pants :) Instead I've done some banking bits, mooched online a bit and marvelled at my empty washing basket :)
I'm making a fish pie later for dinner and rice pudding as I have a tonne of pudding rice that I haven't used for ages. Other than that today will be spent pottering indoors, then seeing Andy later. Actually I do need to go and do a couple of bits - I need to go to Sainsburys to spend my double up voucher, and if I use their scanners as I go then I will get 1000 nectar points too. I also have a couple of bits on shopmium and checkoutsmart to get.
I really ought to crack on with the Christmas shopping soon too, just not feeling that at all this year.

And another week has passed by. Nothing major to report today - Andy saw a chiropractor yesterday and it's not good news - there is an awful lot of damage to his spine and pelvis from years of taking steroids when he was a child, hopefully they will be able to help but it isn't going to be cheap. He has to keep as active as possible so this week has done loads more bits and pieces around my house. I now have a new sink and taps in the kitchen, I had to have a plumber out as my stopcock was seized up and needed sorting. He's got his kids today so I am seeing him tomorrow, today I have a list of jobs to do and I really must crack on with the Christmas shopping soon.

    Hopefully the chiropractor can help.

Morning, a very good result for my team yesterday :)
This morning I have had my shower and mopped the conservatory, kitchen and hall floors then emptied all the rubbish bins. I'm going to have some breakfast, dry my hair then go and meet Andy, we're taking his kids to a local country park today to get them out and about and keep him active. After we've taken them home it will be back here for roast gammon then getting ready for another week at work. This term feels relentless already and there's still another 4 weeks to go. Mock exams start for my lot at the end of this week so I am expecting a lot of anxiety and stress from the kids. Hopefully it will be a very low spend week, I did go to Tesco last night and topped up the petrol (£20) and food (£30). Hopefully it will just be bread and milk to get this week foodwise.

And another week done :) My kids start their GCSE mocks next week, I am so nervous for them, they are stressed beyond belief, it's such a rubbish time for them this year :( I went out today and bought 240 selection boxes from Tesco (£1 each) which is a little treat for them all after the exams.
Andy has his kids this weekend so I am seeing them on Sunday and we'll take them to the park together. Tonight is a housework night followed by a hot bath and chilling with the laptop, tomorrow will be food shopping, a beach walk and some football. The end of the month banking round up also needs doing.

Banking has all been checked, I have overspent again this month, not a surprise as Andy has done all sorts of bits around the house and I have been buying the various bits and pieces he needed from B&Q. Lots of very useful jobs have been done though that would have cost me an awful lot if I had got a handyman in to do them.
I need to move some bits about and then I'm ready to go again for a new month, I have squirrelled away a few nice food bits for Christmas but I need to keep a close eye on it next month.
I have just posted an ebay parcel, had egg on toast for brunch and am now going to have some laptop and footie time :)

And another weekend ... this week at work has been crazy ... mock exams, positive covid tests and a big fight :( Hopefully the last 2 weeks of term will be a little calmer :)
Tonight the weekend got off to a good start with a 0-4 win for Bournemouth :) The rest of the weekend will be spent chilling, buying a Christmas tree and decorating it, housework, a decent walk or two and some more chilling :) Andy is spending this weekend with his kids, I'll see him on Monday after work.
