But when it's the man that does the majority of the cleaning Beanie it's not such a bad thingMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I'm with @Sarahwithlove on the writing a list of meals you would both eat. That way it would be much easier to mealplan. Also making meals that you like and portioning up in the freezer so you have handy, healthy ready meals in your freezer and just need to add veg to it to complete the meal. That way you could each have things you like but just to reheat them and then have the same sides.
I'm quite lucky I suppose in that my DH will eat whatever I put in front of him! He occasionally moans if we have, for example, too much chicken in a fairly short period of time or if I serve too many veggies meals but he still eats them!

Today I've come home to find he has taken my extractor hood apart and deep cleaned it, he has got my 6 overhead-cupboard lights working in the kitchen (haven't worked since I lived here, apparently they were wired wrongly), painted the bathroom ceiling and fixed my banisters and painted them all (a huge job that Mr S said couldn't be done). I am a very lucky girl !!Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Ds is good thanks Beanie - he is lucky that his employer can stay open in lockdown so he is still working. He is ticking along nicely at the minute
Handy Andy is a very appropriate name for him DrawingalineToday however his back has been very bad again, in fact we were at A&E at 4.30am this morning ... lots of painkillers later and prodding from various consultants and he is trying to cope with it still

Andy's back is still not good - very slight improvement but not much, but in good news he has now been furloughed so at least is getting enough money to survive. He was advised by the GP not to sit down much and has taken him at his word - ds bedroom is currently being prepped for painting, my banisters (that Mr S totally bodged) have been dismantled, stripped, painted and put back together, my lights above my kitchen cupboards have been fixed and a billion and one other little bits and pieces have been done
Lots of them were easy fixes (wd40, adding a washer here and there etc), but things that I wouldn't have known how to do or that even needed to be done. He's fab
CSA have managed to get £80 out of the ex towards my arrears this week too, so all in all it's not been too bad! This weekend will be spent pottering doing little bits and pieces again, the weather is pants, the money is tight and everywhere is shut. The highlight of today will be a trip to the tipMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
