I ended up not doing much at all yesterday, I did meet Andy from work and last night I met his kids. They were lovely and it was great to see him with them. I did eat a few biscuits yesterday, not sure why I was craving sugar yesterday but will be back on it properly today. I've had my porridge and coffee for breakfast and will be good today :)
I've pottered this morning and got some housework done, second load of washing is on. Ds is working this afternoon and evening, Andy is coming over when he finishes work so I'll do us dinner later.
I did manage to get some new shoes for work yesterday which I've been meaning to do for ages, I also got a few little bits to put away for Christmas, I need to start organising that as I keep squirrelling away bits and I need to keep track of what I've got.
Today will be spent doing some more pottering and housework, getting some steps in, then chilling with Andy later :)

Today I planned on going for a nice walk as I haven't done much of that this week. Andy was driving the first bus on my local bus route so I set my alarm and caught his bus into town (6.15am). It takes an hour to get there and then I planned on walking home, however after walking for 5 minutes I was cold so decided to jog to warm up a bit. I ended up jogging most of the way back, with some walking breaks thrown in. I reckoned on it taking 2.5 hours ish, but got back in 1.5 hours, so treated myself to a McDonalds breakfast :) It was 7 miles altogether, nearly 16,000 steps.
Since then I have changed my bedding, done two loads of washing and most of that is dry. I have also been food shopping, got a birthday present for a friends birthday and had a bath. Oh and I also had a nap :)
Ds has just gone to work, I might have another bath as my legs ache, and then can't wait to get into my nice clean bed :)

I have made some soup for lunch at work tomorrow, this week I want to use up some of the stuff from the freezer, I have made a list of what is in there (I still have a whole drawer full of blackberries), so now need to start planning on what to have. Tomorrow I'm going to Andy's after work so haven't got anything out the freezer. There is a good mix of meat, fish and veg in there so should be able to do quite a few decent meals.
Spends today = £65 in Sainsburys but £6 of this I will get back from Checkoutsmart and £30 of it was for birthday presents so that comes from my gift budget, so actually only £29 on food :) Other spends £3.80 on bus ticket, £3.50 on breakfast and £5 on some cheeky bets (they lost).
One more week until half-term, I am going to do a walk in the morning before walk and next week I want to try and time a 5k and then start bringing my time down.

Your walking puts my 5k once or twice a week to shame 😂

Drawingaline - it wasn't long ago I rarely even did 5k a week, it's become a new habit and one that I am trying to maintain even though it's colder / getting darker now, but any amount of walking is good :) I feel much better for it mentally so want to keep it up for that reason mainly. Today I did an hours walk before work and have ended the day on just over 13,000 steps - not as many as I was doing during the challenge in the summer but not bad considering I've been at work all day and then went straight to Andy's after work and we've spent the evening just chilling on the sofa.
Today has been a very welcome no spend day too :)

Yes, finding time is hard here with family commitments and work. And I like walking on my own listening to music/podcasts so then resent it if the hubby wants to tag along 😂

Half term is finally here, this has been a mad week at work. I'm planning on lots of chilling out and not much spending. Banking needs looking at this week, other than that it will be a nice chance to spend some time with Andy as he has 6 days off too.
I need to do some stuff with my cards, we have some new products out this weekend which I'm very excited about :)
