Morning ditty, I'm a newcomer too so know how desperate you must be. I read along for some time before deciding that I could join this happy band of strugglers.
However...........1kg per year? Dear soul, I can put that much on between breakfast and lunch.
Br
ambling, I know that burnt bits don't hold calories. These were broken too, which means that any lurking calories would have leaked out. AND I was standing up when I are them, so that meant it doubly did not count.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Morning All,
I hope you've all got as beautifully sunshiney a day as I've got here. Blue skies definitely cheer me up, even if I am working so only appreciating it through the window.
Sirens how lovely of your son to wait for you to get home before doing Joe Wicks
monnagran burnt bits definitely don't count so broken and eaten standing up as well means they must surely have had minus calories
Brambling I'm another one who's rather accident prone, I'd fear for our coffee table if I tried to follow any kind of workout in the living room. Well done for avoiding the emergency gin when you raided the under-stars stash
Blue Doggy if how much I ache is anything to go by then my deep cleaning was definitely a very good workout. Well, either that or I'm just supremely unfitSorry you were feeling down yesterday, I hope the sherry helped and that things are looking better today.
TTB It could definitely be a lot worse than an orange added to your menu, if I reach for unplanned things they're never that healthy!!
ditty Welcome and best of luck. I had to laugh at monnagran's comment, I'm another one who can put on way more than 1kg in a day
Well, yesterday's food wasn't great but wasn't hideous either and I even made it out of the house for the first time in a week, only to Sainsbury's but there were a few things we'd completely run out of and I had to get out before I reached the stage of deciding that outside's too scary and I'm never going there again. I am finding the lack of walking hard, I'm used to doing 4-5 miles a day as part of my commute, but not enough that I can actually face taking advantage of my one form of permitted exercise a day.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx7 -

Good evening everyone
Welcome, ditty1234 👋
Monnagran / Izadoraat the burnt broken bits being negative calorie; if only! Then we could scoop ice cream with them
Izadora you could put your housework routine on YouTube and rival Joe Wickes, and it’d be practical, too!Thank you, yes, sherry helped, along with giving up on trying to get a delivery slot from W8rose. It’s this daft world we suddenly find ourselves in...
I cut up all the pruned vegetation from the other day, and filled one of my green bags. Junior Doggy came and sat in the sun chopping stray twigs into little bits, he also chewed up the leaves of a couple of stray daffodils. Senior Doggy worked on his beauty sleep indoors.
Today’s Masterchef entries
B : porridge
L : hardboiled egg salad (mixed leaves, celery, beetroot); tangerine
D : lambs liver and bacon with onion, carrots and Swiss chard; cinnamon yogurt
S : glass of sherry; 3 squares of chocolate

Morning xx
My _____________ was more of a ______ _________ ____ if you see what I mean. It was never going to happen with half a packet of biscuits sat in the cupboard. At this house opened packets whisper 'Eat me. Eat me.' relentlessly until I cave in.
Anyhoo I have a different head on this morning - you can call me Worzel- and I've remembered why I started to do this, turning 60 later this year and all that. The current world situation was getting to me and having to go out into the even-more-scary-than-usual world to pick up my prescription stressed me out. (When I got there they told me I was too early and to go back the next day. That really didn't help.) I hear you Izadora xx
monnagram - catching up with the thread you have started my day with a laugh, Thank you
I also stepped outside while the kettle was boiling and watched the sun rise - beautiful.
Today is a new day! No, really it is,
Stay safe

Hugs to those finding it difficult xx I weighed in and can report a loss of 2lbs which im very happy about x Well done to those who have lost or STS and keep positive to those tho have gained x Hey the sun is shining xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.6 -

This lockdown is starting to niggle me now. I've caught up most of my jobs and having to invent things. I suppose it's just an adjustment. I'm in it for the 12 week session, so I'm lucky to have family around at the moment. Anyway... onwards and onwards! 🙂A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
