Yes it was me and I still follow that routine - glad it helped xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.7 -
Afternoon All,
I think I've caught up on posts but sorry if I missed anyone.
TTB Well done on your loss. I like the idea of setting an alarm if I fancy something, I often find that if I distract myself for a while I end up not having whatever it was I was craving.
Blue Doggy Well done on the STS. The strenuous pruning must have counteracted the cake bingeIf I tried to follow your rule of chocolate only being allowed with coffee I'd be bouncing off the walls and never sleep again!!
Roundtuit Well done on the STS. I think, especially the longer it goes on, it's easy to forget how stressful the current situation is so don't beat yourself up for giving into temptations and well done for drawing a line so quickly
Monnagran Welcome and don't worry about talking too much, I'm of the opinion that there's no such thing. I'm similar to you in never having anything that's off limits. If I know that I can't have something it ends up being all I think about so being able to tell myself "later" works much better for me.
Brambling Sorry for laughing but the horseradish on fish made me do a proper snort laugh
Cranky I hope your knee feels better soon
Zafiro Welcome back and post away, I like seeing what other people have and it often helps me decide on what to make when I'm out of ideas
Sirens Well done on keeping up with your exercise bike and Joe Wicks. I'm working when he's on so can't join in (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)
Molly Well done on resisting the temptation of the Easter cakes, I'm sure your daughter will really appreciate them
I'm starting this challenge with a -2lb loss which I'm very happy with. I fear that it's more to do with not having eaten much yesterday, rather than a true loss, but I'll take it. The past week I seem to be either eating not much at all or everything in sight and there's no inbetween. My attempt to scrub every single cm of the house continued over the weekend and was a really good distraction from food so I inadvertently ended up following TTB's one meal a day plan. I do find weekdays and working from the kitchen more of a struggle though so will have to try to reign it in a bit wherever I can.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx6 -
Izadora, must admit I was rather relived to be at work today when the Joe Wicks session was on, however I've just got home and ds has informed me he was waiting for me to get home so we can do it together

Good evening everyone
Izadora well done on your loss 👏. Could it be all the exercise from deep cleaning your house has helped? My chocolate with coffee rule is meant to curb them both, not increase the coffees
For some reason my tablet is refusing to let me copy what I’ve typed, so I can’t page back to reply to earlier posts, so I’m sorry for missing some.
Tighteningthebelt well done on your loss, too. 👏 Apologies if I missed it yesterday.
I was a bit down this morning, hence a glass of sherry at lunchtime again, not a diet aid, but did perk me up a bit.
Today’s food (vying with monnagran for the cordon bleu awardIt’ll never win Masterchef, but I enjoy it
)
B : bacon and eggs
L : hm tomato soup, oatcakes, apple
D : hm butter bean stew; skyr with blueberries

Well done Izadora 👏 great start to the challenge 🙂. I'm another one whose glad I start work too early to work out with Joe Wicks I've heard it's tough, and I've always believed too much intense exercise is dangerous 😁 especially if you're as accident prone as me. I'll stick to the walking
Monna you do know there's no calories in burnt bits?
I'm obviously more cordon bleu than the rest of you I ignore the LO chicken and had fish fingers for dinner 😁. The rest of the day wouldn't be discussed, my turn to use the ruler and draw that line, I've raid the emergency stores from under the stairs (emergency gin has not been opened yet) at least they are now gone and I haven't resorted to baking again , I went walking instead lunchtime 🙂.

Hi can I please sign on to here - I'm looking to loose 10 kg at a very slow pace. Have currently just started weighing myself once a week, and keeping an eye on portion size. I generally have a healthy lifestyle, but due to spending a lot of time in the car, weight have crept on at a pace of about 1 kg a year, it is now time to loose some of it as my joints are achy.
Step one is not putting on weight at the moment being at home, and then to lose 1-2 pounds a month.
