Old Style Weight Loss 2020 - Part 2

Morning Losers,
Congratulations all those in the -1lb club. If you can do it without too much pain and stay with it, it would mean nearly a stone with every challenge. Not bad, eh? 3x1/2 stones in a year without pain. Sounds good to me.
My expectations are low, it is the one sure way of avoiding disappointment and the subsequent beating oneself up followed by the furious binge. So I'll be more than happy with losing ANYTHING.
Exercise is my downfall. I don't like it, never have, hated sports at school, my philosophy is, 'never stand if you can sit and never sit if you can lie.' I blame Roundtuit for getting me to put my Chuck Berry CD on and doing a bit of Stompin' and Twitchin' in the kitchen.
Yesterday's food. B: weetabix, banana and grapes. L: 2 slices of tomatoes and cheese on toast, ice cream. Sn: 2 crispbreads with brie, 1 cheese scone.
Um. A bit heavy on the cheese. Maybe I'll try to balance it a bit today.
Love to you all and remember.......relish every single mouthful. xI believe that friends are quiet angels

P.S. I loved the library dream. I'd have been one of the hiding readers refusing to leave. I'd be the one building a camp behind the shelves and settling in with my mattress, coffee machine and a lifetime's supply of cheese sandwiches.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Morning All,
I hope you've all got the same beautiful blue skies that we have here.
monnagran Excess cheese? I'm not sure that's a concept I understand. If I'm ever disappointed with a 1lb loss I'll try to remember that it works out to over 3 stone in a year, I'd be very happy to lose half of that each year!
Black Saturn Your BBQ sounds lovely but like a lot of work!!
jimali Ice cream incidents every now and then aren't too bad, I had to stop buying it though because I really can't be trusted if there's any in the freezer
Blue Doggy Be very grateful for the lack of memorable dreams. Mine are sometimes so vivid that it's hard to separate them from reality and I end up with a kind of emotional hangover from them. Spending most of a day in a grump with IzHe because of something he'd done in my dream was a real highlight
Brambling Well done on the loss and I hope your hands are feeling better today
supersaver Well done on the loss, it's really good that you're enjoying your food as well
ditty Your activity levels really do put me to shame. Much like monnagran I'm not a big fan of exercise. I know it's good for me and I do actually quite enjoy swimming but, since they closed my local one, it's a pain to get to the nearest pool so it's rare that I bother. I'd go for a swim in the sea but there are too many idiots on the beach for me to want to go there at the moment.
Yesterday was another not-too-bad day. I ate whatever I fancied which was nothing for breakfast, a cheese and cucumber bagel for lunch (with only a handful of crisps rather than the whole bag) and an egg, asparagus and green bean salad for tea. For snacks I had half a brownie and a scone with a little bit of butter and jam.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx

Oh Izadora you've just reminded me that I had a dream the other day where OH had gone out and bought a flat, but then it turned out to be a house (so he wasn't even telling the truth about that), and I was fuming with him as we haven't completed on our new house yet and so wouldn't be able to, so I was talking divorce it was that serious (in the dream). The next day I still felt really mad and was telling DD about it and she was saying 'it was only a dream mum', but I was still really angry 😂😂😂. I know it was just a dream but I was still feeling annoyed.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Well done Supersaver 👏👏 I've adjusted it to 4lbs
Monna ah the 'C' words cheese, chocolate and cream although I can live without the cream 😁
Having quality tested the bara brith I have sliced it and put into the freezer out of harms way 🙂 some of the problem is the addition of butter 🙄 the Parkin is still maturing but I think that will need to be given away
B - slice of bara brith with butter
L - bowl of fruit, mixed berries, nectarine, kiwi and banana
D - salmon. Jersey royals, asparagus, broccoli small knob of butter on the potatoes
S - apple and a light baby bell (sorry it's not proper cheese once the lurking ones are gone they won't be replaced, a smaller amount of mature cheddar or the Brighton blue would have been more enjoyable.

Good evening everyone
Well done Brambling and Supersaver on your losses 👏👏
Monnagran just call it “Cheese Three Ways” and it’ll sound so cheffy! Much cheffier than “excess cheese”.Having got this far, I took a phone call and have been talking for the last hour, so am just about to do my exercise (rushing off, washing up, dogs’ bedtime medication and tooth cleaning).Hoping to make a longer post another time.
Dishes of the day were
B : porridge
L : ham & tongue , lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber
D : grilled steak, courgette, carrot, cabbage; cinnamon yogurt

Hello. I have got a weeks worth of catching up to do so I will just hope everyone is ok, and read back tomorrow.
The week started off well and then something upsetting happened and it all went downhill. I am back on the horse.

Morning xx
Keep twitchin' monnaAt work yesterday a colleague asked if I had lost weight!!! Erm yes, but only six pounds I only started last week. Colleague: you can tell. You have a waist; you go in and out.
I don't think losing six pounds has made that big a difference BUT losing six pounds, twisting round the kitchen and oiking my bra straps up following a conversation with a different colleague has given me a waist in a week
woot woot. I'll be happy to join the -1 lb club each week from now on though - fingers crossed for tomorrow.
I was given chocolate at work yesterday and I brought it home to give to a friend as DS does not like nuts. I was also given Mango Iced Tea!!! Is that even a thing??? I don't like mango, and I like my tea hot - so that's being given to a friend too. They actually sell that??? You are now all going to tell me that you love mango and iced tea - each to their own
Have a good day my lovelies. It's my last day at work before a week off aka 'it's the final countdown. Da da dah daa, da da da da dah'
