Hi Zippy 👋 lovely to see another new face 🙂
Roundtuit don't we all have the same nightmares, sitting an exam with no revision or the one about being naked 😬 I took English lit, classical civilisation and ancient history and secretarial studies to keep the peace at home by mutual agreement between myself and the teacher shorthand was dropped after a year 🙂 but accounting has been useful as was learning to touch type (yes on a manual typewriter). I remember my mum and aunts sitting around the table (when will we three meet again..) saying you're a girl what's the point you're only get married and have babies 🙄 luckily my dad was on my side 🙂 as no husband and no babies. Just be warned, I'm always happy to gain another sister but we be a strange lot 😳😬🥺🧙♀️🤪
i managed to get most of my gardening jobs done after work but it was too hot in my front garden to do too much until after 7.30pm, I'm a pale and delicate English Rose and caught the sun too much yesterday. I dropped off some spare bean plants to a friends doorstep and she's promised me some fennel plants to try. I wasn't hungry once I finished after 8.30pm so dinner wasn't as planned I had some crackers with cheese and LO gammon at 10, hopefully no nightmares for eating cheese before going to bed 🙂

Brambling - I don't get to the exam stage in my dreams; I'm always wandering the school corridors trying to find a teacher to tell them I can't do it. And I don't remember ever dreaming that I'm naked
Far more likely to be (1) trying to shut all the windows and lock the doors but there's always another and another and another or (2) a flood of some description. Insecure and feeling out of control? Yep that's me
Oh and I still dream about my Geography teacher - had a massive crush on him right through High School and, in my dreams I still do. That's another thing that fascinates me: the brain! Like I said - anorak!
Hello zippy xx Welcome aboard.
I was given chocolate at work yesterdayI brought it home and gave it to DS
Now it is officially his I won't eat it.
Have a good day.

Morning All,
Well, it's another glorious day out there. Having turned the back bedroom into an office is great for not mindlessly snacking as I'm in the kitchen and it's there but I'm facing the window and the clear blue skies are taunting me with their loveliness.
Brambling I've found my wobble cushion's definitely more comfortable if it's not over-inflated so hopefully letting a bit of air out will help. Well done for getting your gardening done, I found it too hot even to sit outside for long at lunchtime yesterday, and I'm a complete sun-worshipper, so it was a wise move to leave it until later to head out there.
monnagran Music centre/record player, call it what you like. Although it does remind me of my friend's daughter (she's 13) asking us what we were talking about when we were discussing HiFis
Blue Doggy Tai Chi definitely sounds less risky than dancing with canine trip hazards around. Our little furball seems to think that us dancing is a game and tries to pounce on our feet!
greenbee Medieval languages may not be much help with conversations when abroad but I reckon they'd be great for being able to work some things out based on the origin of the word.
jimali That sounds like a very busy day and good effort with the clean plates all rounds, it's always satisfying when you know that everybody enjoyed a meal
roundtuit I still have recurring dreams, 22 years after graduating, about having to hand my dissertation in and realising that I haven't done any of the work for it. I don't have dreams about being naked either but do regularly dream that I need to wee and all the toilets I can find are either too dirty to use or completely exposed. I can't remember who it was but someone who used to post here did dream analysis and told me that they're linked to repressed emotion - me, not getting things off my chest? Surely not
zippy Welcome and well done on your loss so far
Yesterday was another day of eating pretty much whatever I wanted, although with a slight pause to question whether I really did want it, and there was definitely a lot less rubbish consumed than when I'm trying to diet and constantly thinking about what I should / shouldn't eat. I even had only half a brownie!! They were cut pretty small to start with and I really fancied the taste but they're rich enough that you can get that with a couple of bites, so that was all I had.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx

Dreams are really odd. When I was young I used to have a recurring dream that something was about to fall on me. It got so bad that I couldn't even bear to have a wardrobe in my bedroom. That disappeared a long time ago. I do get a lot of deja vu feelings though. Odd occasions when I know exactly what is going to happen next. Strange things, human animals.
I went out this morning and when I got back I was ravenous so had a crispbread with brie. Now I'm not hungry for lunch so will drink another glass of water, (It's going down a bit better now,) and wait. This way of eating is fine for me living on my own, but I can see that it wouldn't be so easy if you are working or living with someone who expects meals at set times.
Now I have to make cheese scones for the lady who gave me her excess cheese. I think I will have to wear my mask while cooking. Cheese is my nemesis.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Good evening everyone
Sadly, I seem to dream very rarely and seldom remember any. I have a friend who used to be a Librarian and she told me that she and most of her colleagues had what they used to call the Library Dream: it’s closing time, but the readers won’t leave and hide among the bookshelves in a library which grows in all directions as you walk through it.
I’m very late tonight, so just time to list today’s food
B : grapefruit, oatcakes with Marmite
L : cheese salad - lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber
D : egg and asparagus bake, carrot, broccoli; cinnamon yogurt

S - grapes, pack of crisps, two slices of bara brith with butter

Had an early morning WI and have lost another pound. I have been really enjoying food this past week. We've made a few different things (some involving lots of butter) and I've eaten all of them. Big fan of this enjoying your food thing
Brambling, this means I have now lost a pound two weeks in a row please. (Sorry I think I missed last weeks update). I am glad to see those 2 lost then gained gone again.
After I gave up smoking, many moons ago, I had a really vivid dream where I was smoking. When I woke up I felt sick to my stomach with disappointment that I was smoking again. It took me a view minutes to realise it was a dream, but I can still remember the feeling of disappointment. The library dream sounds like a nightmareOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Hi I am mainly keeping up my steps and outdoor activity this week. Yesterday I had been quite passive though, so went for a family walk in the evening. That was nice. Today I'll walk as well.
Have had quite rich food all week, so have kept lunch light.
