Welcome Jill always good to see a new face 👋
well done Blue, Monna and TTB 👏👏👏
Nice to have a visitor Greenbee 👋
Monna at least you have an excuse for your baking equipment 🙄
Roundtuit I think I'm going to have to start dancing my considerable size booty as well, Cranky if I start running even indoors I'm going to have to fish the sports bra out 😁
The furry alarm clock decided 5am was a good time 🙀 I've got my own back by washing my winter dressing gown which he like to sleep on, he hates it when I wash it 😁 but I was a bit cotton wool brain this morning
i meant to spend the afternoon in the garden but one of my sisters called and then a friend, I'm not complaining as it's good to catch up but it was two hours from my gardening duties and then I had a cuppa .... I did manage to plant courgettes, squash, patty pan and runner beans (hopefully my wigwam building skills will hold out) I just need to sort my tomatoes and French beans tomorrow and some digging in the front. If it all takes I may need to find somewhere to put a second freezer or I'll be sending you all veg boxes 😁

Morning xx
Brambling - if there are two of us dancing does that make it a disco?
I enjoyed my morning dance so much that I had another jiggle whilst tea was cooking: Let's Dance, Do You Wanna Dance. Let's Twist Again - but At The Hop was one hop too many!!!! So the goal is to dance to At The Hop all the way through without having to sit down and recover
Intake yesterday:
B - none
L - fish finger sandwich, ice cream
T - mozzarella burger, potato waffles. veggie fingers
S - yogurt, apple
D - tea, water (not enough), diet coke (too much)
Calories: 1433
Have a good day.
Rxx

Morning Losers,
Well done Blue. Only the elite lose a pound in a week, the show offs lose six pounds, mentioning no names roundtuit.
Welcome jimali, I take it you have been reading along for a while. Good luck with losing that amount of weight in this challenge. The only way I could do that is to start removing body parts. We will all be cheering you on.
My very kind brother and SIL sent me a beautiful M&S hamper over the weekend. Oh My. It is full of all the tempting nibbles that I shouldn't be eating. Will Power, where art thou? Of course I won't be touching them.
P.S., the vegetable crisps are yummy and the lemon and lime java cakes are to die for.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Another thought.
Roundtuit, are you dancing to Alexa or one of those things? Or do you have the right jiggling types of CDs?
I like the idea of dancing around to music, (or dancing on the spot in my little bungalow) but my radio is permanently tuned to ClassicFM and my CDs are of a similar genre. It comes of being a high minded, intellectual and serious dispositioned sort of person. Oh, yes it does! Stop sniggering! Anyway I've discovered that Rachmaninovs Second Piano Concerto does not induce much calorie-burning jiggling.
Help.I believe that friends are quiet angels

monna - I don't know whether to swank or laugh - not easy to do both at the same time!
I don't have an Alexa or one of those things but I do have an eclectic collection of CDs and vinyl - which, it may surprise you to hear this, includes a collection on vinyl by classical composers. I do prefer what I call the lighter composers - Vivaldi. Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Pachelban - but there's Bach, Beethoven, Orff, Sibelius and a whole host of other dead people too. No good for dancing to though.
Do you have an Alexa? That would be ideal. If not you may need to retune your radio - but I'm not a fan of radio for dancing. I prefer to choose my own tunes. So CDs it is chez R. 60s toons so far, but I have a lot of 80s toons too. I'd forgotten how much I love to dance - peeling back the layers to find the real me hidden up the blubber

No, don't have Alexa but a quick peruse of my CDs reveals I Want To Move It, Move It, (bought when dgd was doing it for a dance show) a Beach Boys Album, a Carpenters Album, The Best of Chuck Berry, The Best of Simple Minds, Number Ones of the 70s and 80s and a collection of Scott Joplins Rags. All nestling with Couperin and Vaughan Williams.
Am just off to find some jiggling to music bits.
Don't think I'll bother with Couperin and Elgar.

Good morning, I’m off to a good start today - porridge and raspberries for breakfast, have done a short workout, half and hour if gardening, and changed the bed - all getting in lots of movement. Planning a walk later. Have great days everyone
