Sirens DD had that on the wii we sold about 7 years ago, but we were just saying the other day how we liked to play it. It was very therapeutic. I will have to look at getting the new video thingy, perhaps nearer to Xmas as there aren't many bargains around at the moment (and I really should be getting ready for our move).

Morning losers.
Well done Blue! Give yourself a pat on the back if you can reach round that far.
Also well done to my other half, Roundtuit. That looks like a very good day's eating. Fingers crossed that it does what it's supposed to.
I will be continuing my strange 'It's not what you eat, it's how you eat' diet. Though it doesn't seem like a diet, its too much fun. Yesterday I had ...........
Toast and marmalade for breakfast. Only 1 slice because it was my HM bread and I knew it would be filling.
Lasagne and garlic bread for lunch followed by chocolate ice cream. I did leave a few mouthfuls of lasagne because the eating very slowly meant that it was cold before I'd finished, and cold lasagne is not delicious.
At about 5o'clock I felt a bit peckish and thought very hard about what I would most like to eat. The answer was surprising and not what I would usually go for when the urge was upon me. I had
A small sandwich, 1 slice of bread cut very thin (one of my few talents is cutting straight slices from a loaf) with cream cheese and cucumber. Voila!
What I also did yesterday was to drink a lot more water. When I say a lot more, I mean more than usual, which wasn't difficult as plain water is not what I ever drink. I know that you are supposed to drink something ridiculous like 8 glasses of water a day. Well, sod that. I managed 3 glasses, and with a slice of lemon in it was quite nice. I will work on keeping that up.
So far. So boring. Have fun everyone. But not too much.I believe that friends are quiet angels

monna - I've adopted your 'savour what you are eating' approach - rather than the 'inhale food on the move' approach. DS seems a little bewildered that the TV isn't on at mealtimes, but he has the 'shovel it down like there is no tomorrow' approach to food so it doesn't take him long to demolish a meal. How he doesn't choke I don't know! And he was not brung up to eat that way - I actually find it embarrassing if we eat out. I think the only reason that he now eats whatever you put in front of him is because he doesn't taste a thing. But if that's the worse thing I can find to say about him I didn't do such a bad job
monna - I too am trying to remember not to forget to drink more water. Straight from the tap here though, no slice of lemon...you must be a posh relation on my Grandad's side

Roundtuit, posh doesn't even begin to cover it, honeybun. Not only posh but brilliant with it, as well as rich, beautiful, tall, elegant, charming........... I bet you're glad you know me.
The slice of lemon is because I bought lemons to make a lemon meringue pie and couldn't be bothered. This lemon was as hard as iron, it almost took a chainsaw to get a slice off it, but I managed at last with a bread knife. I have to admit that it makes the humble glass of water a bit more interesting. I have also cut down my coffee consumption. I always had it black and sugar less, but I think I've drunk too much of it. Now, with the water, I can't be doing with so much liquid. My tonsils are already floating.
I bet we all know that feeling of, "Oooh that was nice.....I think......better have a bit more to see if I am right." I don't know how many times I've looked at my empty plate and had no memory of eating anything. I do hope this works. It's not easy because you do have to concentrate on what you are eating, but, oh my goodness, it is interesting to find out what you have been wasting your time eating. Stuff that is really so-so.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Good evening everyone
roundtuitI hope you enjoyed your Monday off. Well done on your new mindset, I think eating slowly gives one’s body a chance to register when it’s had enough.
Monnagran huh! Cheeky! I can easily pat myself on the back between the shoulder blades without unscrewing my arms. With both hands, but not simultaneously.Your “mindful, not mouthful” way of eating is very sensible. I’m so glad you’ve found a regime you can enjoy.
Black_Saturn thank you, and well done on your STS 👍
After lunch when I went into the garden and Junior Doggy went into his “something interesting here” pose, and there, the other side of a fence, was a fledgling blue-tit, flapping about and ducking under leaves. I watched it until it went into a big patch of plants.I hope the rest of its siblings are around somewhere, there are some adults very busy at the moment probably feeding babies; anyway neither of the Canine Doggies will be going out alone for a couple of days.
Today’s menu
B : bacon & eggs
L : cold roast lamb with celery, radish, and black olive salad
D : steamed salmon steak with petits pois and carrots; yougurt with strawberries

Evening All
Well done Blue on the loss nothing wrong with a sts Black Saturn 👍
I surprised myself with my restraint yesterday, I allowed myself to eat what I fancied as with every Sunday, I did have some cake for pud and dd made some ginger biscuits in the morning so I had one with my coffee, (much too tasty!), but I was pretty well behaved, I remembered the bloatedness of too much bread last week and felt so much better for it.
I confess Monna I am not a water drinker at all, I don't drink milk so stick to black tea and coffee (unless I'm really hot) luckily I made sure my kids always drank a lot of water from young, so when we sit down for meals they automatically get a big glass of water for everyone and then make sure I drink it (sometimes I wonder who is the parent). So I'm getting about 3 glasses a day!
just not long in from work so quick dinner for me
B bran flakes, nat yog, plum
L spicy rice and chicken, apple
D pasta with pesto, lettuce, broad beans (love them!) and ocean sticks, cheese.'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Day 3 and I have a better idea what constitutes 1700 calories now
B - 2 Weetabix, skimmed milk, half teasp sugar
L - 2 slices bread, 2 teasp spread, 2 sl cheese, 4 sl cucumber. salt; biscuit bar
T - mozzarella burger, 2 potato waffles, 3 veggie fingers, gravy; ice cream
S - apple
D - tea, coffee, diet coke, water
Calories 1678
Work tomorrow - breakfast before I go, tea when I come home - if I eat a sandwich and a biscuit bar at lunch I won't go far wrong. Snack will be a banana. I'll take some sandwich bags with me then I can bring any goodies home for DS. Crisps can go in the cupboard to be eaten in a controlled way when I fancy a packet - not eaten for the sake of it because they are there.
I will master this thing called 'discipline'
