Thank you for your kind words and encouragement xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.8 -

Afternoon All
I remember spotty dog and watch with Mother ( which I did) and also remember the spotty dog walk! Andy Pandy was my favourite though, oh and lamb chop!Despite my gain this week I have not thrown it all in and am happily sticking to plan, yesterday I finally made something with my rhubarb, I made rhubarb crumble muffins, there is only a bit of butter in the crumble, so not too bad at all and I worked out the calories so I can still have one and stay on track.Today's Meals
B apple and banana
L jacket pot, hummus, and radishes
D grilled chicken fillet burgers with wedges, corn on the cob and salad
probably another muffin with my tea!'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

I'm not sure how I missed a whole page of postings - and a photo - when I posted my last post. Wooden tops really brought back childhood memories. Yes Sirens I remember lamb chop too with Shari Lewis - it does seem an odd name for a lamb?
Does anyone remember Tingha and Tucker the two little bears. They were Koala bears. I just had a look on youtube and found mostly black and white, but some colour film too.
Thank you Monnagran it was hard going running with a full tum, but it did the trick and I always feel better.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Well done Molly
hopefully the new medication will help
Supersaver I don't remember Tingha and Tucker but it could explain why my sister had a toy koala, which i remember as being too hard to cuddle. I remember our first colour TV I found the agreement when clearing mums paperwork from the early 70s between my mum and Radio Rentals I'm assuming my dad didn't agree with it as usually everything would have been done in his name, it had her brother and brother in law as guarantorsI also remember very school holidays there was about an hour of morning TV a black and white rerun of either Champion the Wonder Horse, Casey Jones, White Horses, Belle and sebastian and I want to say Heidi I think it was only on for an hour or maybe that was all we were allowed before we either had to go outside or be given a duster
writing this has just stirred some theme tune memories I'll be humming for days
The threat of a really late night luckily didn't happen so we have just finished work how for the weekendLunch was on the run but I can live with that for finishing only a little late.
B - other night oats, berries, banana
L - small portion of spaghetti bolognese with a pita bread rather than pasta
D - will be HM KFC chicken (boned chicken thighs crumbed and airfried) LO new potatoes chipped in the air fryer and LO tender stem broccoli with maybe some sweetcorn

Good evening everyone
Lovely memories of Spotty Dogthanks for finding the picture, Brambling
We watched them
at primary school (no TV at home), sitting cross-legged in rows on the floor of the small hall. And yes, it was the authentic first edition, not the remake
Congratulations to molly on your loss. 👏
Well done on your run, supersaver👍Brambling hold on tight! As long as you keep hold, the wagon will wait for you.
SIRENS your rhubarb crumble muffins sound good! Excellent for portion control
Today’s food
B : porridge
L : ham & tongue salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, olives); tangerine
D : dill-crusted baked cod with tomato sauce, green beans & cauliflower; cinnamon yogurt

Saturday WI - checking in with a 2lb gain.
Checked myself and will be back on it again today ready to lose again. I'm still in the 12's (stones) so I feel the the 13's are well and truly behind me. My next target is to leave the 80s (kgs) behind which will be 12st 8lb - so just 4lb to lose. Onwards and Downwards
I remember our TV was rented when I was a little un. Only remember as I think it went wrong one day and I remember going with my dad to change it.

Its an other sts here.
So let me try to identify the 3500 cal that would have taken a lb off:
1 beer(I had two) 222 cal
large tablespoon of peanut butter 200 cal
One extra chicken wrap probably 400-600 cal
Large piece of banana bread (had 2 pieces) 300 cal
2 days of under 3000 steps. 400 cal
Well thats half of them, at 1700 cal, so not great to try and back track as I really need to be going forwards on this. So based on a calculator thingy need 2000 al a day, but I would say 1900 as I'm quite computer based most of the day, even if I do a bit of exercise.
So since I am only willing to give up about 200 cal a day I will need to try and keep my intake at around 1700 a day, which would be a lb over 2-3 weeks. I'm still thinking out loud here.
1. not eat extra when exercising
2. not eat peanut butter
3. no seconds
4. limit bread (I love bread)
5 more fruit and vege
I am. already limiting sweets, snacks and cake- but not excluding)
Anyways I'll try to keep a bit more of a food diary from now on, but might not post everyday as am also trying to limit screen time to work + 0-2 hours a day incl tv!
Hope everybody else have done a bit better.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hello xx
Please can I wipe the slate clean and start again with a target to lose 9lbs by 30th June? Pretty please - with no cherry on top because I've probably eaten it
I know this is six weeks but I think, after that, I need to set myself a monthly target (which worked for me when I joined you on 1st March) and not a quarterly target which felt like I was shooting to hit something a long way off, so I could 'cheat' today (and tomorrow, and the next day....). Does that make sense?
I've been reading up about healthy eating and exercise to get myself motivated. I found a BMI calculatorSo, assuming that you've said that I can jump back on to the wagon (be prepared for the jolt when I land ladies!) I'm going to bear my soul. I'm 5' 6 " tall, 59 years old, and this morning I weigh 18stones 2 lbs which makes my BMI 40.8. At my heaviest I weighed 20 stones 4 lbs - I don't want to go there again.
Calculator says I can lose weight eating 1700 - 2200 calories a day - so I'll aim for 1700 and not beat myself up if it's not 1700 exactly. I'm such a black and white person - 1699 yayy brilliant; 1701 ya fat slob ya useless. That's not kind to myself and therefore verboten according to the rule!
My first thinking is if I can lose 3lbs I'll be in a new number: so that's my mini target.
Hold on ladies I'm about to land - BOING. (Anyone remember Zebedee)
