Morning Losers,
Or Stayers The Same as I have this week. I'm very pleased though. I am having a ball with eating what I like and not putting anything on. Even losing a smidgen here and there is a bonus.
Supersaver, I am still trying to get under the 13st, a couple more pounds to go yet, but I'm aiming to get there by the end of this challenge. As you can see, I'm in no hurry.I believe that friends are quiet angels

P.S.. Sorry, I mean that I am quite a bit older, not you.

So let me try to identify the 3500 cal that would have taken a lb off:
1 beer(I had two) 222 cal
large tablespoon of peanut butter 200 cal
One extra chicken wrap probably 400-600 cal
Large piece of banana bread (had 2 pieces) 300 cal
2 days of under 3000 steps. 400 cal
Well thats half of them, at 1700 cal, so not great to try and back track as I really need to be going forwards on this. So based on a calculator thingy need 2000 al a day, but I would say 1900 as I'm quite computer based most of the day, even if I do a bit of exercise.
So since I am only willing to give up about 200 cal a day I will need to try and keep my intake at around 1700 a day, which would be a lb over 2-3 weeks. I'm still thinking out loud here.
1. not eat extra when exercising
2. not eat peanut butter
3. no seconds
4. limit bread (I love bread)
5 more fruit and vege
I am. already limiting sweets, snacks and cake- but not excluding)
Anyways I'll try to keep a bit more of a food diary from now on, but might not post everyday as am also trying to limit screen time to work + 0-2 hours a day incl tv!
Hope everybody else have done a bit better.
I remember all of the watch with mother shows, except Rag Tag and Bobtail. I swear I have never seen it. I thought maybe It was shown in the fifties (I missed Muffin The Mule too) but people younger than me say they remember. (I am just sixty)
I wonder if my mother thought it was unsuitable viewing?
Yesterdays food
Pilchards on toast
Beef curry.
Four pomegranates.
Peanut butter and cucumber butty.
I also did an 18k walk. My feet are falling off.

How lovely to be able to put a face to the name.
Maybe we should all do one of those zoom things?

PPS. Who are the scrawny ones?, seriously? maybe we are related? My gran was called Monica - I always think of her when I read your name.
The 'scrawny ones' are my colleagues at work - there are others but we were the only four in yesterday. I'm not sure if we're being put in for 'ThumbsUpFriday' or 'ThankyouTuesday' on the Hub - I was just dragged from my desk and had no place to hide - stupid social distancing!!! I'm usually the one stood at the back so you can just see my face peeping over someone else's shoulder. Oh well - maybe the shock was needed to jolt me out of complacency.

honeythewitch - thank you xx I'll be sixty in September and I never saw Rag, Tag and Bobtail or Muffin the Mule either. I remember: Andy Pandy, The Woodentops, Bill & Ben, Tales of the Riverbank, Pogles Wood (that was my favourite), Camberwick Green. Ahhh memories!

PS I don't even know what Zoom is lol

Roundtuit, sorry to disappoint you but my name's not Monica, it's Joy. The Monna comes from my autistic grandson, it was the nearest he could get to Grandma. All the other grandchildren adopted it and now half the world calls me Monna.
I always do the hiding in the back row bit when a camera is produced too. And now I don't only have the girth to hide but the wrinkles as well. Nothing like a photograph for bringing out the ploughed field look.
Ah, it's so sweet hearing about the children's TV programmes you watched as children. I also watched them, but with MY children. It's a sobering thought that I could be your mother, and if it's sobering for me it must be terrifying for you. Sorry about that. I will try to behave.I believe that friends are quiet angels
