Molly41 keep on keeping on. Can you make yourself a little chillout nook somewhere out of the way? Maybe a bedroom, where you can do something peaceful for a quiet hour?
Whatever you do, dont stress eat. You'll be so cross with yourself it will not be worth it.
Stuck in with 4 men though, that would test anybody's patience!! Big hug to you too. XA bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks8 -
Good morning everyone
The shopping arrived this morning so we are well stocked up for the next few weeks. We took advantage of having supplies and had dippy eggs and soldiers for breakfast...delicious. We are also having roast lamb and all the trimmings for dinner tonight which is my absolute favourite so a good foody day today.
Hugs to you Molly, I know what you mean about cabin fever but fantastic that you are nearly in your smaller trousers. Hopefully I will be able to join you soon (not in the same trousers, that would just be plain weird!) I have a couple of lovely dresses which I want to be able to wear this Summer.
I still have a titchy bit of chocolate left from my birthday which I will scoff later and then that is it, all the fattening stuff gone.
Hope you all have a lovely day, take care xx

Hugs to Molly xx Some days are harder than others, even when they are all the same, aren't they? I'm taking it one day at a time but that doesn't get rid of angst, just makes it do-able... mostly!
My car won't start againMy stomach is in knots but I've borrowed my brother's charger and I know that DS will taxi me to work tomorrow if needed so I don't need to worry - unfortunately I can't find the 'off' switch for the worry generator.
Ommmmmmmmmmmm.
We can do this

+1 due to Easter goodies: also, I have been out of the building twice for a total of 45 minutes in the last 17 days. So that's something I'm going to have to resolve.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hugs Molly. This is the first day when I've thought it would be nice just to get in the car and go for a drive. Like dumpling I have a couple of dresses that I'd like to wear if we have warmer weather. There's also the potential of a school reunion some time this year and I'd like to weigh a fair bit less than I do now if that happens.
The HT and I are more or less OK with staying in - we stay in a lot anyway because of his joint pain but it's odd not being able just to nip to the shops here and there. I'm worried about my bf too but I'm not letting him know that. Instead when I speak to him I'm encouraging him to rest when he can and to eat properly. He works long hours anyway and he's working even longer now. He and my other closest friend both work in hospitals and extra intensive care units are being set up so lots of extra work going on.
In an attempt to keep up with exercise I've weeded the back garden, jet washed the patio (with some help from the assistant gardener), moved some plants and cut the grass several times. I've spring cleaned the living room - well most of it. I still need to wash half of the vertical blinds from the french windows and all of the blinds from the front window but I'm having a rest today because my leg is sore. I haven't done all of this at once. It has to be done a little bit at a time because of the dodgy leg but at least while I'm busy I'm not dwelling (as much) on the things that worry me.
We are getting out for a short walk most mornings but it's taking longer than it should because it hurts so much. I know that you're much more limited movement wise than I am Molly so no wonder you're fed up. I'm sorry if I've waffled on too much......it'd be so much better if we could all sit round the table together with a cuppa for a natter wouldn't it?
Food wise today I have chopped up a red onion, a third of a cucumber, some cherry tomatoes and mixed it with a sachet of microwave rice. I was starting to forget what healthy food looked like so some of this rice mix will be my lunch and my evening meal. The HT won't eat salad - he has a multi vitamin every day instead, sigh8 -
P.S. Sorry, I forgot to ask roundtuit what you are most worried about?

Thanks for the hugs - Ive done some baking - well we have done some baking -I issue the instructions and feel better for it. Hope work is ok for you tomorrow roundtuit xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Afternoon All,
Sorry for the lack of posting. I've been reading but on my phone, rather than the laptop, so replying takes a lot more effort.
Well done for the losses and STS and commiserations for gains.
Molly and roudtuit, it's such a weird situation that we're in at the moment that I think wobbles are kind of to be expected. I hope you're both feeling a bit better and please rant however much you need to if it even slightly eases your worries.
I worked Friday, spent Saturday and Sunday enjoying the sun and today spring cleaning the living room. I'd been doing pretty well at not eating too much and then drank silly amounts Saturday night (we had a video party for a friend's birthday) and ate pretty much my own bodyweight in Easter eggs yesterday. I still somehow managed to lose half a pound this week but must try harder.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx8 -
So sorry Molly and roundtuit and anyone else who are feeling more than usually down. When life is a struggle even at the best of times, it must be almost impossible at the moment. You are very brave.
I spent this morning cooking the mince I defrosted for yesterday and also a corned beef and potato pie. Having done all that I was too fed up with both of them to want to eat so the rest of the day has been a succession of snacks, a sandwich here, an icecream there...., a handful of raisins....an apple... a few pringles.... a few grapes...... a crispbread and marmite...you know the sort of thing. I even eyed the box of chocolates some ill-wisher gave me for Easter, but somehow, goodness knows how, managed to resist. Where's that Brasso?I believe that friends are quiet angels
