With a wary eye on what @Umkomaas has said, you/we do need to know some dates as, if you pay any CCJ outside the time limit set by the judge, they will only be marked as satisfied and will affect your credit rating for up to six years.
  • What I want is to agree with UKPC and excel parking to agree to get them set aside the challenge is how do I go about doing this?

There's a set aside guide in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post. Hopefully the forum's set aside expert @henrik777 will be along shortly to give you his view, but mine, for what it's worth, is that it might be too late to do much about these other than to pay the CCJs off to avoid that crack of dawn knock (and crippling fee additions), but I would much rather @henrik777 give you his expert opinion.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks Le Kirk for trying to help me, I appreciate it.
The ccjs are way over the 30 days, because of my dire personal situation last year with covid, deaths, job situation, I put this on hold. Only now Im trying to pick myself back up.
    What dates do you need?
If they are all over 30 days there is nothing to be gained (credit score wise) but as @Umkomaas writes, you need to be wary of the knock on the door.  Maybe you need to review all the dates of the various CCJs and see which one(s) is being chased currently and pay it.  Dates required will be date(s) of parking event(s), date(s) of court claim form(s) and date(s) of judgments.

    Step 1

Get the claim form from the courts and/or claimant.

    Step 2

Work out why you didn't get the claim form and form a timeline.

Parking date. Notice dates. Claim initiated date. CCJ awarded date.  House move dates. Record changed dates it's.

You'll need to investigate and ask the relevant people.

    Step 3

Within 3 days of discovery, ask the claimant for consent. Even if they say no, you've given them notice of intent.

7 days to answer chase after 3/4 so they can't claim to have not gotten.

    Step 4

    Application.

Now, it's pretty much too late to worry about time and anything other than querying valid service.

So work out why they were sending to an old address and the gap between obtaining that and lodging court action.

Probably no chance of consent (without agreeing to pay them) but even if they did consent that's £400 in court fees.
  • I have 4 existing ccjs currently from Excel Parking and UKPC Issued on 2019 and 2020

    Hi everybody,

I would like some guidance please, I have checked my credit report last year and to my surprise and shock found out I have 4 ccjs. When I called Northampton business centre they had told me the ccjs are for 2016 overstaying in a supermarket carpark. This is now £185 from Excel, the next one is Excel parking again in 2016 for a different vehicle £185 the next one is UKCP £268 in 2018 and the other is excel parking 2016 for £185.

Now I did not receive any letters as I was not living at the address the vehicles were registered to, I would like to get a consent order to cancel the ccjs. I do not mind paying now, if I pay and get it satisfied now it will still ruin my credit for 6 years, I wanted to look for mortgages this year and with these ccjs it will ruin my chances even if I get it satisfied which is not good enough.

I am also currently receiving letters from DCBL for referral for enforcement for 2 of the current judgement ccjs on my credit file.
Please any advise would be appreciated.

Where do I begin? I asked excel last week for a sar and they have not responded yet.

    Yes ask both.

It could be difficult if you essentially had no address though.

Plus a couple of other posters' threads he's hijacked. I asked him some questions, but he seems to have blanked me.
