Happy Easter
Apple - hope your ankle is feeling better
Went shopping yesterday, got everything apart from tinned lentils (the entire tinned section was still empty). I also managed to finally plant the onions although turns out we don’t have a trowel. Took LO out for a walk in pram this morning, she took her socks off and put her feet on the bar. On the way back we let her down for a waddle, can’t believe she’s old enough to now walk around outside. Need to get some reins on her though, she showed a very independent streak and refused to hold hands. Grateful for LO toddling along like a drunk person, for good books and for the weather6 -
BadBookkeeper said:Received our gas/electricity bill they want to increase our payments by £40 a month!!
So check the wording carefully and see how much of it is real and how much of it is them just wanting to be on top - as opposed to you owing them a tinsy bit when the bill comes out.

And happy easter am grateful for something, just not quite sure yet - probably that officially I now have a week off and I will probably start a diy project - I'll just paint that dining room with the matt paint that I have, and then I can reprint it with a silk when I get rich :-).Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Happy Easter everyone
I'm exhausted today - had quite a bad night last night. Woken by a cat just before 4am and couldn't get back to sleep at all. Gave up and got up just after 7 but feeling quite rough for it now.
Have finally managed to finish my bathroom. It's taken me ages but it is painted and today I got the new floor down. It still needs a new sub floor but I haven't got the skills or funds for that in the short term so this will have to do. It's certainly better than it was, and might even be nice enough for me to want to soak in the bath now - who knows.
Other than that, I've managed my daily walk but very little else. Washing up, load of washing, hoovered through and put the rubbish out. There's nothing spoiling though - I can catch up with stuff tomorrow when I've hopefully slept better.
Today I'm grateful for: my clean and decorated bathroom, feeling fitter on my walk, not getting stressed out about doing nothing, my kids and cats, home made pizza!

Today I am grateful for frozen peas (my new best friend!), for arnica, for cushions, for having the window and door open, for dd chatting with the nighbour over the fence, for my mobility (however slow and unsteady I am, I can still move around under my own steam -and get to the loo as required!), for phone calls from mil and big sis.

Happy Easter Turtles
Hope your ankle is ok soon apple.
Thanks for all the comments on my energy bill. We bought a hot tub last June and heated it since. Our electric bill increased by £25 in October which we thought was ok and that would be it but for it to go up another £40 is just making it an unnecessary luxury I can’t afford! I pay dd every month but they only bill the account every 6 so it’s got out of hand without us knowing. We are going to switch we are in contract until August and it will cost £30 to exit but may still work out cheaper to pay it when I work the price per unit. We have to clear the £300 if we switch so need to work it all out! We will also get rid of hot tub!NSD still 7/15. Bought online vouchers yesterday for mums hair salon for her birthday tomorrow, today I transferred money to DS Xbox account for his Easter gift.
Not done much today, made an egg hunt for DS - he loved it!
Watched kids movies and made a roast. Out of wine, we always have wine with a roast but never mind!
Starting to feel restless so made a list of a few things to do tomorrow.
Grateful for -

- Buying us each an Easter egg ages ago

evening, we have had a good day - DDs enjoyed the easter goodies which i bought ages ago & I put them in tin egg shaped containers which i can re-use. We had a lazy morning watching Lady and the Tramp on disney plus. i cooked a roast and then we went for a walk. Friend rode past us on her bike so had a chat from a safe distance. When we got home i had face time with my sis then spoke on the phone to a friend. Watched another episode of our latest series on Netflix. Enjoying spending time with DDs, just going for walks and watching TV together.
Didn't manage a NSD as had to pay for next week's exercise classes.
Nite everyone
