Today I'm grateful for - finally getting a start with painting the bathroom, still having a job and an income, feeling fitter when I go walking every day, continued good health of me and the kids, being able to sleep until 8am.
It's been more of the same today except I finally started the painting after days of procrastination. I will never enjoy doing it but I really hope that my bathroom becomes a place I love after this.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Evening
i took a day's leave today; had an appointment at the bank but we did it over the phone instead. Sorted both DDs savings accounts out - they were still in my name even thought they are both in their 20s! Went on a long walk in the sunshine. DD1 went to tesc0 for a few things and paid! So i get a NSD . Did pilates class via Fb.
Gratitudes - being able to sort DDs savings out; DD1 for going to the SM; whoever played 'somewhere over the rainbow' on a trumpet during the 'clap for carers'; pilates What's App group for encouragement and banter

Busy day, awake at 5.30 am, had pills, ate breakfast, soaked pads on my eyes, then had another little nap (nearly 12 hours sleep altogether). Cleaned my mask and hose and changed the filter on my CPAP machine (should help with the hayfever - not sneezing but sometimes have that scratchy feeling in my throat. Dealt with all mum's paperwork and got it filed neatly in the box, cleaned the shower as yesterday I followed the instructions and it looked great when I did it but not later on.Mum had a letter from her consultant yesterday, she is definitely in the high risk group and should stay in isolation for at least 12 weeks - so she cancelled the hairdresser and nail girl (I told her they wouldn't be able to come in when she made the appointments but she just gave me that 'we'll see about that' look).Spent the afternoon with a hot stove. Cooked the chicken for Sunday, baked all the large potatoes and 3 small beetroot, cooked a pan of new potatoes (six left whole to parboil, the rest quartered for potato salad), grated a beetroot and a courgette, put away small quantities of cooked meat in the freezer, marinated three cut up chicken breasts in tandoori spices and plain yoghurt, made cauli/broc/ pasta in cheese sauce for tea, washed up. Changed mum's dressing (wound is much better).DS2 came with a bit of shopping and we chatted through the window. This afternoon I drew out some letters to cut out and make a cheery message to put outside.Today I am grateful for getting mum's paperwork out of the way, washing drying on the line, having cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, bread for toast and fruit juice, for having fun and making stuff from leftover bits.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8

Thursday- still on NSD 6. Went to the supermarket today, and as I was spending bought things required for the garden, and placed an online order. That should be me until the milk needs replaced. I
Had a mad 15 minute tidy up-_mostly me throwing things in a binbag and DD racing before me to save her stuff- one black bag in the bin and most of DDs stuff off the living room floor and into her bedroom. So not much actually got rid of but at least the mess has been swept back to her room where I don't have to look at it!
Gratitudes- a slightly tidied living room, well stocked shop shelves, a very long walk, the out of date jelly set in the fridge and tasted fine, finding rainbows on our walk.8 -
Yesterday was NSD No 7 (apologies for not checking in)
I got a lot of little jobs done and have another list for today. Nothing major but at least it's getting me back into a routine.
Hope you all have a day.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
Ditty, I don't know which nationality you have (and you don't have to tell me), but be aware if it is Dutch: you can have double nationality, but the moment you forget to renew your Dutch passport, you loose your Dutch nationality. We bought antibac handgel at our pharmacy yesterday, and a Vichy daycream for me. I was running out of Aldi cream, and decided to spoil myself at 10x the aldi price
Husband went to a proper butcher's and bought some lovely pieces of meat, which we Japanese-barbecued outside and ate with a bits-and-pieces salad.
Today, husband is grocery shopping for the Easter weekend; normally he's back in 30 minutes, but he's been gone for 1h20 now. I suspect there are long lines at the supermarkets. Besides, he wrote his own list, not based on the store layout. We are still in isolation; a friend came over for a chat yesterday, keeping 3m distance, and she told me that while the adults in her street keep their distance, the children are still playing together. So I'm thankful for living in a street without other children? This period anyway, normally I wish other children were closer-by.Definitely thankful for lovely spring weather, dds that play together well. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.597 -
Morning all, knew today was going to be hot so loaded LO into carrier for a walk on the Downs before the heat. Turns out I massively underestimated the temperature and by the time I got back I was a big sweaty mess. No plans really apart from keeping LO entertained (if possible) and reading my book. I might bury a couple of onions that sprouted to see if they grow, otherwise I’d just put them in the compost anyway. Grateful for my works Easter rescue package, the birds we saw and heard on our walk and OH for making me lunch8

Went for an early run on a beautiful path. Then did a bit too much food shopping, were in for a burger bbq feast tonight and some sort of chicken tagine on Sunday. Trying to produce a bit of difference in a landscape without much differentiation.
Grateful for sunshine, seeds sprouting, running, the robins keeping an eye on us in the garden and food in the shops. Yet still no yeast. might try to start a sourdough!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
