. Achieved my 10,000 steps. Grateful for laughs with colleagues, going a nice walk with OH, chatting to my sister, seeing pictures of my niece and yummy pasta bake for tea.

Tuesday- NSD 5,
I'm struggling to be grateful for much today but- a good walk, getting seeds planted and DD still maintaining some enthusiasm for gardening, having time to read, phone calls (although today they just made me miss my mum- but I have to stay grateful that my parents are safely isolated from DD and I and we will see them when all this is over).
Tomorrow will be a more positive day!

Planted one tree. Unpacked the plants that had been put in the letterbox. Washing dried on the line. Two larger parcels arrived today but used the spade to push them into a shady corner, will unpack after 24 hours.Cleaned most of the kitchen and bathroom, in stages - paused when I went dizzy from bending down. Mum sat out in the garden for a while - I have been trying to get her out there.Phone call from DS2 to ask if we needed anything - I had a list so told him some items off that - he will be carrying them back to his flat (he was worried about how to clean celery - told him to just wipe the outer pack and I will leave them in the shed (isolation hut) for a few days. Concentrated on things for mum so will miss out on some things I would like, but did remember Worcestershire sauce, tartare sauce and cider vinegar (still in one of the left behind bags - DS2 will bring them sometime but not this week). Messaged DS3 to check if he and his Beloved were okay. He is sure that he only had a cold - DS2 would not bring my things because he thought DS3 might have the virus.Writing this now as I stayed up late to get one of the elusive SM delivery slots (for the 28th), a mix of fresh fruit and veg and some store cupboard stock ups. Tomorrow will be busy, a milk delivery day, veg box day, meat hamper delivery and then DS2 later on, want to get those plants out of the boxes and potted up into next size containers, finish the cleaning and tackle the paperwork again so I can get the front room straight. Leaving Thursday for cooking, chopping and peeling and making salads (some from bean, beetroot, waldorf/ apple, peach and nut, rice, pasta - will probably do a chicken and pasta dish and want cauliflower/broc/pasta in cheese sauce as well). Also ordered roses and lavender to do the side garden for mum.Today I am grateful for getting more 'on top' of things, for food deliveries, bin men and post people (I want the one in the Pikachu suit), for the cleaning mostly working, for the yard starting to be more organised, for entertaining birds, for getting mum outside in the sun (but shaded). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8

Morning all
Groundhog day again, but I am grateful to be in good health and still being paid from one of my jobs - exam work this year is now non existent.
I seem to start every day feeling rubbish then I force myself to do something and feel better afterwards. I'm going to go out on my own today for a walk - kids have promised me that they will spend some time in the garden if I don't make them walk. I'm ok with this as long as they get some time outdoors.
Operation 'paint bathroom in tiny stages' is ongoing. Today's plans are for me to get the masking tape down.
Other than that the same little housework bits, and a couple of hours of work to keep me in a routine (even though strictly speaking it is the Easter holidays).
I am grateful for - the continued good health of me and my family/friends, having a job that pays me even though I'm only there one day a fortnight at the moment, having a garden even though I hate gardening, the nice weather, and being locked down with my kids and cats.

Thanks f0xh0les for the advice, I'll give it a go later on. LO is at the stage where she wants to feed herself but she also likes to throw food
OH got more ant powder to chuck outside, at least bicarb can be used inside. Another day working from home, starting to feel a bit down, not sure working in my bedroom helps but it's the only place I can set up the desk to work from even when LO is home. Grateful for another dry day for washing, LO enjoying nursery and the large amount of chocolate OH brought home yesterday

abbi, have you 'followed' one back to where it comes in from? If you can do that, and see it disappear down a hole outside, then you can concentrate your poison on that one area, (usually under a paving stone, and then wash it away with a hose the next day. Having 'guests' when you have young kids is a nightmare. Also, if you wash down where they have been with water with a bit of vinegar in it, they cannot scent where they have been - they can smell their footsteps, it stops them getting lost - so they don't wander back in on the off chance of remembered food. Good luck!I put dh's camping bed outside again in a puddle of sunshine, with my second hand bargain bistro table and chairs, and just lay outside having a cup of tea. It was lovely. I am wearing a summer frock, I even got my legs out (oh dear, another thing to go on the list!) and had 10 minutes of radiation-therapy
- those blow up mattresses make good ersatz-lilos, if you have one in a shed.
Everything is just ticking along as per every other day. Looking forward to volunteering tomorrow and a very quick shopping trip. For some reason I am craving stewed apples, so might as well make a crumble for everyone else at the same time. Who knew shopping took up so much of my thinking time in the real world?Budget looks great, as I am only buying things once I have run out of them. So really am only buying the essentials. Might even be able to buy a new tyre with this week's excess. Reminder to self, put new tyre on the shopping list - I volunteer opposite a garage so I would not even have to wait with the car.3 illicit yeast packages were sent this morning. Afternoon, having late lunch break. DDs have gone for a walk. DD1 has dug up some weeds (she must be bored!). DD2 got a letter to take to SMs asking that she access the vulnerable shopping periods due to her eating issues. Shame we didn't get this a few weeks ago; tbh i'd rather not expose her to shops and trolleys and baskets (& shoppers who don't get 2m distancing rules) so i will continue to do the shopping. I managed to get most of my list last night going between tesc0 xpress and co0p - even got sourdough bread!
Hoping to manage NSD today but not claiming it yet...
Gratitudes: DD1 doing some gardening; support for DD2 from MH services; coffee breaks in the sunshine; only 1/2 day of work left before 5 days off; technology so can keep up with friends

Did a few things today. Tidied the freezers so I now have a better idea of what is in there. Loads of frozen veg so I should only need potatoes and perhaps tomatoes for a while. Planted some more herbs which I hope might grow.
I've completely lost track of time. Can't remember what day it is most of the time. I really must make a huge effort to get into some kind of routine.
Today I'm grateful for;
My neighbour cleaning the bin store which was in a dreadful state (apparently) since I couldn't get out to do it.
Two apple pies that I'd forgotten about in the freezer.
The wee ones giggling whilst playing on their trampoline.

Hi this evening I am grateful for sitting outside at 7pm, listening to all of the critters in the garden, for having a garden to sit in, for generally nice neighbours who makes noises during the day but not in an annoying way(mostly) and for reading an amazing book - mostly about the colour blue. I will now check back on the actual challenge for this month and see what I can do!
That said I am feeling a bit low and like the world have left me behind, and just gone quiet, but I'm quite sure I am not the only one with that feeling.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
