Another lovely day today. Plenty of sunshine meaning lots of dry washing. Planted up lots of seeds so hopefully my future self will be pleased about when then grow.DH has attacked the garden and that looks good too. Still more to do but a good start. Today’s gratitudes:
having a garden to be able to spend time in
seed box to use up
everyone eating random leftovers for lunch and no complaints

NSD 3 for me too.I did order a new duvet cover for DS3 - will be delivered whenever, not bothered - 'paid' with survey vouchers. £0 cost to me. Changed everyone's bedding and cleaned and tidied and hoovered nearly all the house. All nice and tidy.I have too little to do to keep my mind occupied. Can't even bake or just graze as I am dieting.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Thanks for your kind words mothernerd - I'm very aware of my mental health as you know and am already worrying about how it will deteriorate over this period. I have to say, I'm surprisingly not particularly anxious about the situation itself - which I think just goes to show that I'm always in a heightened state of anxiety. I know I'm doing everything I can in terms of following the rules and trying to look after myself and my children as best as I can, but I am worried about how this might affect my kids in the longer term. DD is staying in bed later and later, and ds is wanting to be on his exbox all of the time. I make them get up, get dressed, get out of the house and far away from other people whilst getting some fresh air. I'm very lucky though in that we have a garden so even if they don't want to walk I can make them get some vitamin D out there.
Today we've spent quite a bit of time in the garden. We all did a litter pick for 15 minutes at the beginning of the day which has made much more difference than I thought it would - and then we've sat out there this afternoon doing some reading and relaxing. Still got a walk in with dd - needed bread and milk so we decided to brave L1dl - which was absolutely fine... still would rather not be there when I don't have to be though.
Today I'm grateful for:
Nice weather, having a garden, my kids and cats, enjoying simple things like reading and crochet and being able to stick to my diet for another day.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Today I am grateful for doing an early morning walk, for playing badminton with dd (we did 1 rally of 9 - yay!), for continued contact with my friend in Spain, for dh helping me to dig up 2 sapling thingies, for less screen time than recently, for being fit and well, for good coffee, for hearing a woodpecker whilst out walking.

Another NSD for me - number 4. I will need to spend on food this week and more garden stuff - I used the tallest set of steps in the polytunnel with pieces of bathroom cladding straddling the rungs to make staging and I am going to use the leftover edging stones to make mini raised beds for spring onions and radish, but I want to buy some roses and lavender plug plants to make the little side garden mum wanted. I'm also planning a sort of elf on the shelf thing with a fairy garden outside her window to surprise her each morning.Today I am grateful veg, milk and eggs, creativity and adaptabilityMy mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8

Very lazy day here. Did sort heaps of paperwork (old business paperwork) and shredded/ recycled a pile over a foot high (well, haven't finished shredding - have to keep stopping to let it cool down/ empty it into compost bin) and DS1 put some boxes into garage loft for me.
NSD. Dinner was mixed and easy - between us we had various leftovers/ pasta (with leftovers in the sauce) and a 'steak' pie made with a tin of steak (bought several years ago for DH when he was living away for work in an annex where the cooking facilities were a microwave and a toaster...), half a bottle of gu1nne55 porter bbe 09/2018 and some ready rolled puff pastry bought YS and frozen back in March 2017!! (served with roasties made with the remains of a bag of potatoes bb 13th Sept 2019... - rest of the bag was used in the corned beef hash the other day)
Grateful for: sunshine - good for the soul (and getting laundry dry!), DS1's help, using things up, getting rid of LOTS of no-longer-required paperwork, small tcb payout

Evening everyone
The weather has been lovely so like others we enjoyed a walk and i got lots of washing dry. I popped into the co0p for bread and bought a load of things i had run out of and was intending to buy in a SM tomorrow, decided to save myself a trip and get as much as i could, even got loo rolls which i needed
Used up various things from the fridge for tea and had a relaxing evening. I did a bit of my PT role and we trialled having a virtual meeting! Went well.
Gratitudes - sunshine, friendly staff in the local co0p; youtube; cuddling the cats; seeing colleagues on my laptop!

Sunday- annoyingly still on NSD 3. As the local shop had no milk yesterday ended up today going to get milk and bought other bits as well - all stuff we would have had to buy at some point but essentially lost the NSD just for milk. Will maybe have to aim to buy milk before we "need" it so I have a day or two to catch it in the local shop. But no plans to spend anything for the next couple of days.
Gratitudes- getting out in the sun, planting some vegetable seeds, free eggs from a friend (collected in a socially distanced way while exercising), time to read, smelly candles.6 -
Today was a nice day, watched tv in bed for a bit this morning then hoovered and did the ironing, coloured some Easter egg pictures for the window, made banana bread and took ds for a walk.
Not a NSD as had to order more ink for printer.Grateful for:
being able to order ink still.
