Yes, that is why a cash refund is the best option.......who knows how prices will pan out for future holidays.0

I have little doubt TUI have done this on purpose, people thinking they have a deal getting the 20% but finding out that it's all taken up with the price increase.
The trouble with a voucher is they now have a captive market.Personally, I'd be happy if I could defer my holiday for a full year - everything exactly the same - for around the same price I've already paid for this year's holiday.'Captive market' isn't an issue for me as the accommodation I've booked is tied to TUI. Very small 14 room apartment block in Greece.Everybody's case is different.People have to make the decision that feels right for them.

As TUI are sending out vouchers by default, I'm reading many want their money back in these testing times
They are looking for options and they will already know keeping the voucher is one option.
I haven't seen many posts stating TUI are wonderful giving an extra 20% (many more complain than give praise)

Or 30% extra. Or a free holiday?To be clear here - I'm not saying TUI are wonderful.I'm not even defending TUI.I'm just giving my opinion on what I would be happy with when TUI announce that my specific holiday has been cancelled.
