I spotted a few dressing gowns amongst my neighbouring WFH-ers today
I shouldn't judge as I can't quite remember when I last washed my hair, and it's piled up like a pineapple
Another one using up toiletries here, and make-up. I never wear make-up, but I've been wearing my brightest lipstick 'to work' everyday. Doesn't matter if I smudge it as we only voice call at work - no video conferences here3 -
Happy Friday to you all (cheeky reminder of the day, I genuinely thought it was Saturday all morning)
I hope you all have some lovely sunshine and blue sky to brighten your days today, it's lovely here, I've managed to get my bedding dried outside instead of in the tumble dryer. We've been for a short walk and I've spent the afternoon colouring, it's been a lovely day by all accounts.

Good afternoon!
Not a lot happening here I'm afraid. A little bit of weeding and watering. A ten metre or so chat with a neighbour. So far away I couldn't really hear her
I've used up some bubble bath and that's about it, fifteenth Sunday in a row...3 -
LOL at bag lady comment
LOL at better get dressed - I was in the office
I've just made rice crispie cakes using half an easter egg that had already mysteriously cracked open early - one mini rice krispie pack and some out of date nutella from Jan 19 and the mini eggs that came with the easter egg. Very tasty. Anyone want one?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

In my defence I threw nutella from 2014 away as it smelt funny. I tasted the Jan 19 one and it passed before heating it slightly in the microwave then mixing it in.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I found some ground coriander from 2009 in the cupboard
- even worse, I've moved twice since then so it's obviously moved each time with me
Hope you've all enjoyed an Easter of sorts - I had to work today, but it was pretty quiet, so I got to watch ep1 of the new series of Killing Eve in my lunch breakThat's about as exciting as it gets these days!

The standard rule here with BB dates is that if it looks OK, and smells OK, then it's likely going to taste OK. And if anyone is curious as to whether packet jellies ever go off, I ate one dating from BBE mid 2008 a few months back.. Tasted exactly like normal!
Blackcoffee your signature just made me laugh! Cut? Not a flipping CHANCE!!
After all the chat about crumbles I was utterly delighted to find some rhubarb in Aldi - grabbed a couple of cooking apples to go with it, and that made crumble for after tea last night plus enough fruit in the freezer for another go next weekend. Also did the usual and made enough crumble mix for both portions of fruit so that is also frozen and I have a very easy assembly job to do when we eat the rest! For the first week in ages I didn't get round to doing any other baking - we did buy some salted caramel & chocolate hot X buns from Aldi though, and a couple of posh traditional ones from the nice bakery. Love the small print Black sugar no coffee - made me laugh out loud. Pass some of that crumble over. I still want to make banana loaf - we've got some walnuts now - so thinking of adding them in. Need to dig out a recipe - it's been years since I made cake. I have a little flour in a glass jar. Think it's SR but may add some baking powder just in case.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've been given a recipe for a chocolate banana loaf which sounds lush and includes rum soaked raisins...I can see nothing to not like in it so far, can you?!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
