Shows how observant you lot are - I've had that signature since before the forum switchover!
I bet you all have lovely hair anyway, and definitely not looking like a cross between a hedgerow and a Crystal Tipps throwback (ahem). I bet the unkepmt look will come back into fashion at some point
I am not a 'chocolate' person, but I do have some lemon gelato for sharing, if you promise to share nicely4 -
Mmmmm now that sounds AMAZING! I love pretty much anything lemony - probably because it's not as sweet as most "sweet" flavours. Given a choice though I will always prioritise crisps or cheese over sweet stuff though! (Lemon Cheesecake ticks both boxes here, please note!)

How are we all doing?
I'm feeling a bit under the weather today, sore throat and headache....this is not uncommon when I'm feeling anxious so I'm not too worried, a mug of Lemsip usually sorts me out so I'll make one of those in a sec.
I'm really struggling with not working, but trying to keep positive by learning some new stuff from home. I've been playing with a new budget spreadsheet, I want it to be fancier than my super basic one...I love fiddling with my numbers.
I also have a jigsaw on the go, I bought it to do before Christmas but it was too difficult, I don't know why I thought a 1000pc puzzle was a good idea, however I now have a lot of time on my hands so thought I'd give it another go.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time

I’m working from home and training up on a new area of work for me going live on Monday. Will be right on the frontline and making a real difference so need to get it right 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

findingthisdifficult I think so many people are currently struggling with stress and anxiety - including many who've never really had symptoms of either before. Do treat yourself kindly. I'm hugely grateful that I still have work for the moment - I think I would have struggled a lot more had I been furloughed. Trying to find jobs for MrEH today as his three day week means that he is off today while I am still working.
Sun_Addict that sound like something to keep your brain well and truly working then - well done!
Well I won two eBay auctions for jigsaws yesterday - one for slightly more than I wanted to pay but it's a fab picture with lots of seabirds so right up our street - I decided that was well worth the extra £4 or so. The other is one of the quirky ones where every single piece has at least one straight edge to it - meaning that usual methods won't work - so that will be interesting. Both should arrive next week, and in the meantime we'll be getting the other christmas one we bought out for this weekend I think.
Anyone got any good plans for the weekend then? I have a giant "Lockdown List" running which I'm dipping in to to find things to do - can be anything from painting my toenails to repairing a fence (which is what MrEH is currently doing) but a fair amount of the stuff on there is things we have been putting off for ages so it makes sense to get them done now while we have the gift of additional spare time. I've been given a recipe for a banana chocolate loaf cake as I think I mentioned earlier so that's something I want to bake over the weekend - most likely tomorrow.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Good Luck @Sun_Addict
Ooh new puzzles! I hadn't thought to look on eBay, maybe if I ever finish the one I've started I will treat myself to a new one.
Today in the FTD household, we will be learning how to remove and replace a kitchen tap! Definitely shouldn't have ignored the tiny leaky problem we've had for a few months!! Hopefully I will be back later for all the cakes and treats, if not then there is every chance we've flooded the kitchen completely.

Rum soaked banana loaf sounds excellent! I can feed it to the DCs for a few hours peace and quiet right?
I'm struggling with keeping motivation up for work (self employed)/life/budgeting/parenting/everything at the moment. Feel like my get up and go has gone into lockdown too! Trying to keep my daily lists to a bare minimum in the hope of actually ticking everything off them and regaining some feeling of achievement. How's everyone else managing with motivation and getting the stuff done that just needs to be done?Trying to figure out a whole new life. Trying to figure out a whole new budget.
Divorcing, unclear on final debt total right now, but focusing on building a financial buffer zone.3 -
We booked this week off as part of Easter. We've been pruning back the garden. DH has been digging up weeds. I've been de-silting what use to be part of a water feature and planting seeds. I've also rescued some ground level strawberry plants and put them in a special planter I already had. I've had an injured leg for some time but gardening - with lots of sitting down - is proving good physio. We are also semi-dieting. I say semi because I made my first cake in years last night - a lovely banana and walnut loaf - a mere 3200 calories!!! Very tasty.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I wanted to try to learn to bake but I can't buy flour anywhere. However, I was given a bit of rainbow skittles birthday cake last night. Sorry, wasn't any left over for the cafe.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.2 -
Really glad it’s the weekend, it’s been a very long stressful week at work, chocolate is the only thing that has got me through. The weekend will consist of lots of Disney+ and video chatting with family and friends, the housework isn’t going to get a look in 🤣🤣 I’ve still got Easter eggs left so will make a start on getting through them. Hope everyone has a great weekend xxslowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T2
