Anyone from golden syrup pudding, instant custard and ice-cream?
I would be interested on the pharmacy thing - as we have electronic prescriptions sent to Mr As but not being sent home yet. Sent DS in to get them.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality by mid 2030

I'll take any form of pudding! Errands to run on my lunch break today, food shopping tonight, at the car garage at the crack of dawn (8:30am) tomorrow morning, then once I'm home I can FINALLY relax for a bit
The 2 houses I've been shopping for have started to get me to do 1 or 2 big shops a week rather than going every day, which makes my day-to-day life less hectic although I do believe one house hold will be finishing their self-isolation this week, so it will be less shopping or even none at all if they decide to help out a little
I need to get my nan's lottery today on my errands so worried about some upturned noses but a) I want to keep her life as normal as possible outside of her not being allowed to go out and b) she has asked me to pick up some slips so she can do 4 weeks at a time rather than just one week, so I think it has also crossed her mind that she is asking for something considered non-essential but her and her friend do a personal syndicate between them and she always has been the one to sort it out.
Need to pop into my bank and pay in the money she gave me for her shopping as card/contactless is king at the moment, and also send some calpol up to my sister for my nephew as we managed to source some
After that, I'm hoping to squeeze in some Grey's anatomy on my phone whilst scoffing down lunch

Hi @findingthisdifficult I used Chemist 4 U ... I tested it by ordering something well in advance and it worked ok, but I did find their sign up process to be really bad. I submitted my info to register and didn’t even get an acknowledgment for a week; once I did however it was quick to order (but I did check with my GP that they set Chemist 4 U as my preferred pharmacy before I clicked go on the order).A bit long winded to set up but seems to be working now!4

Just popped in to see how everyone is and see if there are any caramel brownies left from yesterday. They sounded amazing 😀 hope everyone is doing ok and staying safe. We have had some of our local schools open their car parks up to staff at the hospitals in the city. It has been amazing knowing I can park easily when I get to work now but my exercise levels have taken a definite dip, I really must stick to virtual cake not have any real cake!!! Have a good weekend xxslowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T2

I have to go to work tomorrow they have run out of caramel brownies! I'll be all by myself though, so no change there. Still at least I'll be able to pick up some flour for home.

How has Saturday been for you all? Dropping in to top up the drinks cabinet and a small selection of snacks
Mr FTD and I have had a productive day, doing housework and laundry. We went for our walk a little earlier than usual, sadly it was a lot busier than it usually is, so we'll revert to a later walk tomorrow.Wobbling my way out of debt one month at a time

I went to the local Mr T Express first thing and it was fine, only needed a few essentials though. Then while I had my coat on took the dog for a walk, all done and dusted by 9am. I think the best time to go is either really early or around 2pm.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Hi all - this week's cakes from me are coconut buns with redcurrant and coconut icing! Love the way the coconut makes sure they stay lovely and moist!
Another lovely relaxing weekend here at EH Towers - we jigsawed, had a lovely roast yesterday, went for a decent walk (got right down to the river, along a little way and back) and even managed to sit outside for a bit too in the glorious sunshine! Annoyingly with us both being here all day AND both spending a fair bit of time sitting at computers the heating is still on here too - albeit only quite low now and in fact I think the hallway storage heater might get switched to it's "pre-off-altogether" level later today as well, debating slightly as I think tomorrow night was forecast to be a little chillier again. Hmmm. Needs more thought perhaps.
We've delayed our days exercise until this evening when we've both finished work for the day as it was raining this morning at the time we'd usually go out - it's glorious out there again now though so hopefully that will stay around until after 5.30pm!
SA we're trying to get our head around the best time for the shops - last weekend we got to Sainsbugs at around 3.30pm and I was able to walk straight in, this week the queue was right round the side of the building, and there has been a queue at Al's whenever we've been past it in the last few days as well. Not sure whether they have tightened up on numbers in store still more or whether people are just spreading their timings out rather more. Having said that the worst one so far was T's on Friday when I went for Mum & Dad's shopping when I was stood outside for about half an hour waiting to get in! Might try that at a different time this week to see how it works, although with it being Good Friday it will probably be a different pattern again won't it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Expensive weekend in our household, car went in for a wheel change and brake check as even though they are new they felt bad, turned out the ABS module in my car had gone so that was £850 to replace but they did some other bits on mine and OH's car for free....
This morning it was a bit juddery backing off of the drive, thought not much of it, went to drive to the shops on my lunch break for my nan and it was the same, then worse, so just switched it off and jumped onto google. Narrowed down to the most likely issue and have a mobile mechanic coming shortly as I can't just stay at work, hopefully not too expensive, but don't know if I should laugh or cry
The thing supposedly had a full service before I drove it home but considering the brakes were non-existent when I got them checked last month, the coolant needs topping up and now I suspect the spark plugs are the issue, it's becoming very clear they probably did not do the full service, so I need to raise that issue once they are open again.
Sorry if all the cake is gone when others pop in, but I feel like comfort eating2 -
What an expensive weekend you've had SSDD23 😒 Hope your car gets sorted out quickly. I'll grab a cake before you eat them all 🤣
EH - thought I'd picked a good time for Iceland at 11.30 this morning, only one person in the queue. Nightmare inside, they were letting too many people in at a time and there was very little social distancing apart from the till queue. Might stick to Mr T Express in future and manage with what I can get rather than what I'd like to get. I've got a Mr M delivery slot in 2 weeks so will have to manage in the meantime.
Hope everyone is well and managing to cope.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
