Buffy, I've just got Disney+ for DS2 and it looks pretty good. There is a week long free trial available which might help you work out if it would be worth it for you.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Been doing art paintings the last couple of days - acrylic pouring they were fun. Kids have picked up our medications from the chemist and we have TP again. All is well here.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

That sounds interesting and fun savingholmes. What will the end product be? It must be amazing on glass.
Officially I've done nothing! Well, I've read a book. I arm wrestled a cat for a corner of the heated throw and won. Tomorrow I'm definitely doing something.3 -
Someone sent me the following just now, so thought I’d share:
We’ve made it through the last week, and we’re now 1/14 through this week (1/10 of the working week if you prefer) - keep on keeping on, it’s the most we can do :)
Hope you’re all doing ok out there in DFW land!4 -
GC the timetable and "working clothes" is pretty much what I'm doing too - again, jeans rather than office wear but otherwise the temptation would be all too strong to sit about in PJ bottoms. Also going to be strict about the laptop I'm using for work stuff being turned off and moved into the other room each evening and all weekend as well.
Piq what a lovely thing to do with that cake! I might drop some baking to neighbours when I next bake which will probably be at the weekend - Mum & Dad have also had the begging bowl out for cake so might have to make a double-batch! I did laugh at your cat though - that was precisely the sort of thing HRH would have done! (For those who aren't aware/don't remember - when I first started diarying on here we had a rather ladylike black & white cat - however because her name was a) quite unusual and b) as a result was frequently used at the time as a password for various things, she was always referred to online as "HRH The Cat" - a title of which she highly aproaved!)
Buffy - we have also been tackling garden-y stuff - got 13 little teeny tomato plants showing already!
Liking the idea of doing "a thing" each day - I'm trying to blog daily at the moment, and also currently in the throes of tryingt o set up some photo challenges on instagram to motivate people to keep using their cameras or even just to take photos on phones while out for exercise. Yesterday's "thing" was melting down some old candles and refilling the holders for new candles - that needs finishing tonight though as they have all dropped back in level around the wick - we need to fill them more slowly really.
Anyway, as ever the kettle is on and there are some virtual slices of a variation on Jack Monroe's Peach & White chocolate traybake on the side (raspberry and dark chocolate - yum!) so please do help yourselves!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Glad everyone is doing ok. I've made myself a timetable for the day to try and balance out the working from home/home life things so I'm not sat staring at my work computer all day replying to emails. It includes Joe Wicks PE at 9am that's a must 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Good idea to get a balance. I’ve found since working from home that the phone pings more as does the email sound on the computer.

Glad everyone is ok and very happy to see there is some virtual cake left 🍰🍰🍰. So back to work today and it was as busy and unsettled as I was expecting. All annual leave and bank holidays have been cancelled for the forseeable future. I was expecting it. It’s going to be a real role reversal when this is over. Everyone on lock down will be desperate to get out of the house and there’s will be a load of us who will just want some downtime at home and not set foot outside for a while!! Sounds like you’re all getting in to a good routine with getting dressed 😂😂 and having a timetable, oh and making time for cake, that is very important. Stay safe xx
slowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T3
