Hey all, in case anyone is looking into the Mr M food box, my parents got their first delivery today (vegetarian box) and received the following;3 onions, brocolli, own brand white bread, Branston beans, own brand tomato soup, own brand veg soup, mixed vegetables, carrots, pasta sauce , own brand pasta and rice, arla milk, unsalted butter , quorn mince, quorn pieces, quorn pasty , veg sausages, salad potatoes and a block of cheese . Toilet rolls and kitchen rolls.
they were impressed with the amount and range of food and I’m really pleased they’ve got something that can be delivered5 -

I'm dressed in gym gear though as I did the Joe Wicks PE thing at 9am and plan to run on my treadmill later. All prepared here 😁

Good to know what's in the box - I have been lucky enough to get slots - but my parents in a different area have really struggled. My mum has made a home made head screen and has washable gloves to wear and then is covered up in full when she goes out bless her. My dad has a heart condition though so best to be safe. My DH is diabetic so similarly we are trying to limit our risk.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Could not find this thread in my bookmarks!
Any how today was the first day I didn't do so good, so am looking at a time table (!) to make sure I can get things done and don't wallow.
Glad to see all fully dressed, am sat here in pjs and a t shirt.
I will check in tomorrow with another exciting update
XXXNevertheless she persisted.2 -
Hi Buffy - having had a few days in pjs - I got dressed yesterday and today result! I even managed to take pooch for a short walk (not long due to leg) today. I noticed that today I did it more mindful, grateful to be out. Yes there was a cold breeze but the sun in shining brightly - and I wore my sunglasses! Pooch had fun sniffing around. DD has offered to prune some stuff in the garden for me.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

If struggling with supermarket deliveries, it might be worth trying other local businesses to see if they will deliver food. My aunt was able to get food delivery from the small farm shop attached to her local garden centre and a few other places (local green grocers etc) have started offering delivery for vulnerable people that have to self isolate.
I'm also setting up a regular timetable so that my days have a proper structure. I've started having a few work outfits for my work hours so that I don't feel like I'm wearing pjs or pj- equivalents all day long, and it is nice to "come home" from work and get changed into my chilling out clothes. (Not the same clothes that I'd wear in the office, but jeans & tops instead of jogging bottoms). Also being really strict about not turning on my work phone or laptop until I've got dressed for the day and "commuted" to my workspace (other end of the kitchen table!) otherwise it will be far too easy to be "just checking" work stuff at all hours of the day.
I think I really need to take a holiday from the news, it is stressing me out so much and I don't think there are any updates that will change what I'm doing in terms of self-isolating as much as possible and social distancing on the infrequent trips to the food shops. Has anyone else done that?3 -
I think a time table is a good idea. I'm drifting from an idea of a task to an idea of a chore, not really achieving anything. I'm embarrassing myself with inertia.
Yesterday I baked a cake and bagged up slices for several of the older folk in the road. I wore disposable gloves whilst making it and bagging it and didn't go anywhere near any of them. It's a lonely existence for some of them without company.3
