  • Apologies if this has been asked already but does anyone know when Easyjet will be taking Summer 2021 flight bookings.
We're basically shifting a Greek villa holiday forward by exactly one year to the same dates next year and will be quite happy to change our exisiting EJ bookings to the same flights next year.
We could go for a refund and hope for a cheaper flight but I'm rather keen to support the airline if it means the difference between thousands of their employees losing their jobs or not.
My end of May flight to Biarritz was booked in September when the flights came out if that's any help

    Thanks.
They're taking bookings for the May bank holiday next year already - presumably because of people in a similar situation to us.
Our holiday is not until the first two weeks in July ( pool, bar, lots of Euros 2020 and watching Harry Kane sink the winning penalty in the Finals shoot-out to beat Germany - and then the dream was over. ) so hoping to transfer same flights next year.Presumablu it will be done soon to avoid them having to issue refunds if they can help it.
Just wondered if anyone had an inside track ...

No, I think they rushed out the Spring 2021 schedule when all this kicked off so in a way people are lucky they can currently book for May 21, let alone June or July 21

It's probably a good idea when you think about it. I would imagine lots of people are locked into certain dates whether it's with villa bookings or time off work and the opportunity to transfer to a year ahead rather than going through the faff of cancelling and re-booking.
That's if they don't go bust.Their shares rose on Friday so I'm pretty confident they'll ride this one out.

Where are you flying from/to?  As far as I was aware all Easyjet flights have now been cancelled up until the end of this month.

Spain, can't see it happening really! Very late cancelling though.

Easyjet's covid-19 refund request form is at https://www.easyjet.com/en/refund-form.
whilst they do their utmost to encourage you to take a voucher, the refund form was quick and easy to complete.  I received instant confirmation that it had been received.
I filled in that form 27 days ago and have yet to receive my money :pensive: here's hoping for today or tomorrow otherwise I'm going to my card for a section 75 claim

I filled the form out 29 days ago now, I've just raised a chargeback with my bank (natwest), who say it could be another 45 days before they review the case!
Now it's a race, who will refund me first...
