The irrevocable EasyJet dividend decision was made at the AGM on 6 Feb.
The shares went ex dividend on 27 February.

The timing was unfortunate, but a lot has happened since then.

@Clouds88  I’m in exactly the same situation as yourself. End of June Eurocamp type of park. We’re thinking it’s not going to happen and looking into what our next steps are.

I've called Easyjet today, around 08:03am UK Time, was on the line for 2 hours and 47 minutes when they finally answered, they told me they will process a refund back to the card, it would take 3-5 working days, the lady I spoke with also told me that she would send me a confirmation of this by email ... about 5-10 minutes after the phone call I received this by email:

I will let you know if I see the refund showing in the card or not.

An update - a reminder I spoke to Easy on Sunday morning (29/03), today the refund is showing in my online bank statement already, it was fully refunded, not even a cent was charged - so full refund was received today within 2 days from Sunday (today is 31/03) - EXTREMELY QUICKLY, the only obstacle is to get in touch with Easyjet on the phone, as I mentioned I had to wait close to 3 hours but I got the 935 EUR back!

Hi I booked an Easyjet flight via Expedia which has been cancelled by Easyjet.  When Flybe went under (booked a flight via Expedia too), Expedia said look at you CC statement, the payment you made was to Flybe so you need to go to Flybe for a refund.

So I am expecting the same response from Expedia regards the Easyjet flight as my CC does say Easyjet as the merchant.

Easyjet did write to me directly to say flight cancelled and they said to was due to extraordinary circumstances (i.e. code for no refunds!) and offered the usual links to make fee free changes etc

However, on Easyjet own website, the booking number is not recognised and under "my account" no trips are recognised.  So even though I am willing to reschedule my flight to a different date, I simply cant online.

Am I just going to have to try and call, as like with others, I cant get through
Eventually found my booking on Easyjet website (school boy error, I was using the wrong account details to sign in!).

Instead of re-booking the flight, I chose the voucher option but what came up after I confirmed that choice was an email saying my refund is being processed and will be paid back onto the card I used...  which is great if it actually happens!
My Easyjet refund was processed in full today (money returned to CC I originally paid on).  Although the process was initially confusing (I thought my only choice was to apply for vouchers, which I did, online), ultimately the process, on this occasion, was rather painless.

Original flight date 29.03.20, email fro Easyjet saying flight cancelled was few days beforehand, went online to request voucher 27.03.20, got email confirming refund will be processed same evening, money returned 31.03.20
  • Has anyone else recieved a refund in full after requesting a voucher?  This person is saying they requested the voucher but got a full refund.      I am worried about doing this in case i get the voucher.

I just had the amount of my flights credited to my account after opening a dispute with my card provider.  I submitted the claim with my bank on Friday 27th, the day I had been due to travel.  Pleased to have a resolution.

I have an EasyJet flight to Venice (Italy) booked for 15th May 20 departure, return 17th May 20. With the entire fleet of aircraft being grounded and it being highly likely my flight will be cancelled (although easyJet are saying they don’t know yet!?) due to its destination and only a month or so away, I want to have this booking cancelled and have a refund. Does anyone know if more info is available yet to say whether I can do this or not? I don’t wish to change the date as we simply don’t know when this COVID19 situation is likely to be over.

It might be quiet a while before Easyjet officially cancel your flights and you are given the options that are available at that time.
