My wife gave a bag of freshly baked bread to the front liners in our area and a few food packs for the less fortunate families without posting it on social media.1

I use a walker to go out and about.
Went out today for first time in 2 weeks. Everyone was lovely.
Bread lady in Tesco found and packed a sourdough loaf for me.
Went to Boots and was allowed to queue jump.
Only waited 2 minutes for a taxi with a cheerful driver.
In less than 30 minutes and postie dropped a parcel for me and put in where I could reach it without bending down.
All very little things, but how much better they made my day.The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.1 -
Took the family to Formby beach for our first trip since lockdown. I didn't have enough change for the parking meter, but a kind lady lent me her spare National Trust card to cover the parking.A big thank you0

We have a local flower fairy who is leaving orchids on doorsteps around the local estate. Leaving around ten a day with a little note to say 'Be Kind, Stay Home, Stay Safe'2

Our neighbours have made masks for everyone on our street, we are all in this together.2

We're helping our elderly neighbours to shop food, sanitizers, gloves and masks. Also my nephews clean nearest beach every evening.1

I live in a cul-de-sac where about 60% of the houses have vulnerable people living in them. At the very beginning of lockdown I popped a note into each of their letterboxes offering help with shopping. Most, whilst very grateful, had family already nearby to help, but my elderly next door neighbours (whose family live away) were delighted to accept my help and my eldest son and I have been shopping for them ever since! It's a little thing, but it feels good to help out.3

In April myself and 3 year old drew a colourful Rainbow for our front window. A few days later there was a little plant pot left at our front door with the words - “I saw your rainbow it made me smile here is a sunflower to say thank you water me everyday and watch me grow”. We still don’t know who it was but it was very kind and heartwarming, it is now growing out in the garden.4

Friday early evening we had a telephone call from some friends.
"We've cooked you a curry and will drop it off shortly".
Very nice it was too (much better than mine), but the thought behind it was even better!0 -
I saw about 6 homes in total doing this. They put things they don't need anymore at the bottom of their drives - books, DVDs, toys, homeware etc. With a sign saying "please help yourselves". Helps if home is on main road or a through road to other roads on estate. Always glanced at those I saw and nothing of interest for me, nor parents. It was a nice gesture otherwise.0
